This you will never receive from me. I repeat, therefore, the position that I had promoted in my testimony. In my family and political environment, Marx’s quote from the Communist Manifesto that "communists consider unworthy of them to hide their objectives for the violent inversion of the capitalist system" was a value code.

All arrestees from the demo of June 29th have been released today (4/7) under restrictive conditions.
One demonstrator who is charged with felonies, was ordered to give 70,000 Euros as a bail! There is a super-urgent need for raising this huge bail until Monday, July 11th; otherwise our comrade will be locked up in prison.

The court of Athens found Aris Sirinidis innocent and exempted him from the charges. A little while ago Aris arrived from the prisons of Koridallos to the cafe in Exarhia square where his friends hang out and met up with his own people. There waited for him many of his friends that welcomed him cheerfully and with enthusiasm.

His acquittal is a victory of the popular movement.

Aris is free! 1 year in prisons and courts and he was/is INNOCENT!

What do you have to say now cop-judges? What do you have to say journalists? You had baptized him "guilty" because of his political convictions, while he was/is INNOCENT!

The trial of fighter Simos Seisidis continued today with the examining of witnesses (3 or 4 men including the security guard of the bank where the robbery took place, a cop and 2 women) none of them recognized Simos and their testimonies were ridiculous and not based on their initial testimonies.. many contradictions that caused anger even to the prosecutors and judges...

Simos Seisidis trial continued last tuesday with the testimony of defence witnesses.

Simos, an anarchist, is accused of 7 robberies and 2 attempted homicides. In the antipode of prosecution witnesses that did not have that much to say, beyond “I do not know, I did not see” and “I was pressed by the Service”, the defence witnesses had many things to testify, so much about the targeting of Seisidis, because of his dynamic participation in social struggles, as well as for the set up by the media and the repression mechanisms official charges and their repercussions. Repercussions that were proved disastrous in this case, since Seisidis, despite the complete absence genuine facts that support his prosecution, was persecuted, had a bounty put on his head, was shot in the back from a cop and suffered the amputation of his right leg. He still remains inprisoned, deprived of suitable medical care and exposed to a further aggravation of his health. Indicative of this unacceptable

About 50 comrades, and friends, gathered in solidarity, most outside the court room (they didn’t let them in claiming there were no seats).

Mostly today there were demands from the defence, concerning transport (handcuffed etc), and the masked armed cops in the court room. The cops chased some comrades down to Alexandras av. They definitely beat one comrade, it started when family members and comrades of Simos were attacked with no reason by the cops.

The trial began around 9. 30 comrades were in the court room as well as 30 outside. The defence witnesses are 47. Last time 17 testified. Today two more. The second witness describes the shooter as a very tall guy, skinny with long hair and a ponytail and said clearly that it was not Aris Sirinidis. Another witness, a foreign national with no known address is not appearing in court and the defence of Aris insisted that his testimony is read in the room. In his testimony he describes a guy tall like a basketball player with long hair.

Worth mentioning is also that the court wanted to examine a cop-witness that has had pre-interrogative duties. Aris defence immediately produced a document-decision of the supreme court stating this is illegal. After an agreement of the judge and the prosecutor, the cop will testify as a person with special knowledge, (on the mask with the d.n.a.), and not as person with pre-interrogative duties.

In view of the trial of S.Seisidis for the case of the robbery of the National bank on Solonos street, today there was a solidarity gathering for Simos in Syntagma square. Banners were dropped, pamphlets were given out to passer-bys and there was a sound system with a microphone informing about his case. About 100 people gathered in solidarity. Also, posters were put up in the area.

Today in Seattle in solidarity with Simos Seisidis--on the day his trial begins and the day of international solidarity with him--a group of anarchists dropped a banner off the roof of a shopping center and strung another across the street. The rooftop banner read, "Total Freedom for Greek Anarchist Simos Seisidis. Anyone who defends a bank is either a fool or a cop!" The other read, "Not out of pity nor out of duty but because we are anarchists solidarity is our weapon" Flares and smoke bombs were thrown into the intersection to disrupt rush hour traffic and over twelve-hundred leafleats were thrown from the roof and in the street. We did this in spite of the presence of a police cruiser parked at the intersection. A crowd of pedestrians gathered, picking up leaflets and talking excitedly about what they had seen, as the anarchists disappeared in seconds. People were heard commenting positively about the "anarchist flash mob," and one even climbed up to the roof, looked down at the banner, and then raised his fists in the air in excitement.

We write now locked in our cells, dozens of kilometres away from one another, hostages where we were exiled by the vengefulness of the juridical authorities scattered in the prisons of greece, Corfu, Komotini, Grevena, Domokos, Thebes…

We write and we are certain that our voice, no matter how they try to bury it in the drowning cells of democracy, has the strength to still shout. To shout for freedom, for inversion, for revolution. Shout for another way of life were we will all be “kings” without slaves. For a world without authority, police and prisons.

We still have the thirst to speak of our struggle, about our rights and wrongs, about this unique journey to the oceans of mutiny where we wandered through the Conspiracy Cells of Fire. Because we, Olga Ekonomidou, Giorgos Polidoras, Damianos Bolano, Giorgos Nikolopoulos, Christos Tsakalos, are a piece of the Conspiracy Cells of Fire and the Conspiracy is our way for the revolution.

Today more than ever, we are sure that our voice, together with the voices of our brothers, Gerasimos, Mihalis, Haris and Panagiotis, are linked with thousands of voices that preceded us and with thousands that will follow. Our decision to be organised in the Conspiracy Cells of Fire is the decision to stop seeing the life that was imposed on us with the eyes of a passive spectator and become perpetrators of our history. Transfer the revolution to first person, fight for ourselves, without inhibitions and postponements and to exist in the here and now of the new urban guerilla warfare.

This is why we decided to arm ourselves and to walk with our head held high against our faint-hearted era.

We never did fit in the narrow limits of an orthodox social struggle that speaks almost exclusively the language of economic analyses and the front of class struggle, flamboyantly ignoring the individual responsibility of the subjects of authority. We are hostile so much to the hand that holds the whip, as well as to the backs that accept it passively on them.

This is why we speak of the revolution of daily life, for the inversion of compromises, for untamed freedom, for the greed of desires, for the uniqueness of the individual.

We are not fooled by the crippled freedom they promise us on flat screens, in fast cars and in comfortable apartments. We seek the authentic side of life outside the limits of a society that reciprocates between angry outbreaks of economic claims and big intervals of hibernation. Not us, our comrades set fire to the quiet nights in the metropolis, despise the laws and have their vision clear of the hypocrisy of urban culture. We are the reversed image of society in the mirror. We are anarcho-individualists and nihilists and we know that we are conducting a minority struggle with a powerful price. However we do not regret even a moment. Even imprisoned our conscience remains freer than ever.

Do not search therefore through police scripts and theories of communicating containers to find the causes that more young people abandon the certainty of a legal life, and choose revolutionary illegality and the new urban guerilla warfare as a choice of life. Do not wonder when new comrades with surplus courage raise their weapons against this system of death. Because its your system itself, the hypocrisy, poverty contextual and material, fake culture, empty relations, oppression, exploitation of nature, that “supplies” new urban guerilla warfare with dozens of undisciplined revolutionaries. This is why, the new urban guerilla warfare will never be defeated. But like the phoenix will be reborn from the ashes of a precarious defeat, even more stronger, even more threatening, even more liberating. And we were, are and will be there…

We greet the direct reflective action of comrades from Volos, who on the afternoon of the same day of our arrest, assembled in the area and made a demo to the house where we stayed, cutting the ribbons of exclusion by the police and shouting chants. Such actions accentuate the hostilities and release “occupied” turfs from the police, showing that the capitulation will never come… Also the attacks with incendiary devices from Comrades warms our hearts, breaking the ice of isolation and captivity they want to impose on us. We send our warmest greeting to all the anarchist-incendiary groups and to the International Revolutionary Front-Informal Anarchist Federation which we will continue to promote with all our strength, because we are unrepentant accomplices in the same crime of the raging search for freedom.

Anarchist group says behind Swiss parcel bomb

ZURICH (Reuters) – An Italian anarchist group has claimed responsibility for the parcel bomb which injured two people in the offices of the Swiss nuclear lobby group on Thursday, the Swiss public prosecutor said Friday.
Public Prosecutor Carlo Bulletti told a media conference the offenders were from the same background as those responsible for an attempted attack on an IBM research center about a year ago, Swiss agency SDA reported on its website.
The so-called “Federazione Anarchica Informale” (“Informal Anarchist Federation”) also claimed responsibility for parcel bombs sent to the Swiss and Chilean embassies in Rome last year.
Two female employees of Swissnuclear were taken to hospital with superficial burns and hearing damage after the parcel bomb exploded Thursday.
Bulletti said the bomb was powerful, SDA reported.
Earlier this month, Switzerland suspended the approvals process for three new nuclear power stations so safety standards could be reviewed, after Japan’s earthquake and tsunami sparked a disaster at the Fukushima nuclear power plant.

Freedom for Simos
If we attack banks, it is because we recognize money as a central cause of our misery.
In Seattle, as in Athens, many people live in poverty, under a daily misery where life becomes merely survival, as the bosses and banks rob us of our time and dignity. Police, courts and prisons exist for all those who dare to confront that misery. More and more people are persecuted, beaten or murdered at the hands of the police and the State. Prisons function to destroy passion, to serve as a warehouse of undesirables, to spread despair, to kill rebellious spirits; to execute, plain and simply.
But in the U.S., as in Greece, as everywhere, there are those who do not kneel down to this system of exploitation. There are those who put despair and fear behind them. Those who grab life. Those who take action. Today, March 30th, 2011, the trial begins for "the robbers in black" in Athens, Greece. It involves the January 2006 National Bank robbery in Central Athens, as well as six other bank robberies. It is the same case for which the anarchist Yiannis Dimitrakis was sentenced to twelve years of prison.
Today our comrade Simos Seisidis is in the place of the accused. He was on the run for four years, and when captured was shot in the back of the leg which led to its amputation. Regardless of the crimes he is being charged with, the endless struggle for freedom is the crime that he has always committed. We are deaf to their moralistic sentences. We hear instead loud and clear the cry of freedom and the strength of passion as they try to bend those who will never break.
Solidarity is our weapon! Death to the Greek State! Death to all States!
The Spectacle wished to make us appear dreadful. We intend to be much worse.

"On the night of March 29th in Whistler BC, the ALF decided to do what the Canadian government should have done in the first place, punish Outdoor Adventures for ordering the deaths of 100 used up sled dogs. We covered their entire head office with red paint and damaged their windows for all the tourists to see. The reason the Canadian government may have ignored this case of animal cruelty is because they are too busy setting a quota of 400 000 seals for the seal slaughter. Our entire country is run by animal abusing scumbags..... which is why the next night we sabotaged 4 of the conservative governments campaign posters in Vancouver. We shredded them with razor blades and left the message "Save our Seals." After that we headed to the offices of Fairchild Group, owner of Aberdeen shopping center. Fairchild Group rents retail space to Pappas Furs, Canada's oldest fur company as well as other fur retailers, live seafood restaurants, and shark fin dealers. We glued all their locks, left a spray paint message "No more Pappas" and covered their entire parking lot with roofing nails in hopes of ruining the tires on the expensive cars they bought with blood money.

Through this e-mail, we claim responsibility for the explosion that took place on Friday, March 11 at a location next to the Television studios on San Cristóbal hill. Said action was painstakingly and prophetically covered on Sunday, March 13 by El Mercurio, as is their custom, as an explosion related to the judicial decision extending Pablo Morales’ preventive detention period. Nothing could be further from the truth. The reason for Friday night’s bomb detonation was to send a message to one of the pillars of the system of domination: the official press, specifically television. We haven’t forgotten how those representatives of power insulted us. Especially cruel was TVN’s Special Report, which showed comrade Mauricio Morales’ lifeless body and has become the mouthpiece for Prosecutor Peña and his mob. In case they haven’t already realized it, that’s the reason why the press was attacked during the last September 11 march, with special attention given to TVN’s mobile reporting unit. To us, the situation is not settled, and we will no doubt have many more encounters with those reporter-cops. Additionally, March 11 marked the first year of the Piñera government, which represents a strengthened alliance of Capitalist and State interests, the likes of which Chilean history hasn’t seen before. Clearly, the haute bourgeoisie no longer needs the military or the hack politicians of the concertación.

The intent of our action was to neither help nor hinder the situation of anticapitalist prisoners. We think that would be impossible. Nevertheless, while we recognize those prisoners as part of a wide anticapitalist spectrum that certainly isn’t limited by the number of houses it squats, our knowledge of or relationship to them has nothing to do with the science fiction movie that BIPE (Police Special Investigations Squad) and DIPOLCAR (Carabineros Police Intelligence Department) sold to Peña and his prosecutors, who are hungry for success, fame, and TV cameras. However, we are well aware that, no matter what, they’ll try to smear the prisoners and link them to any actions that take place. If there are no actions or bombings, they’ll say the prisoners are guilty and that’s why the bombings stopped. If there are actions and explosions, they’ll say it’s only to show that the prisoners are innocent. In the end, the new subversion and the new diffuse autonomous guerrilla war can’t be guided by what power thinks.

An entirely different matter is the recent attack carried out on a private house, which was followed by a communiqué containing a threat to attack a school. We completely reject that action. We won’t interpret it, we don’t understand it, and we don’t know what goal it hoped to achieve other than tainting anticapitalist struggle and rebellious ideas. We think it was either the work of police, parapolice squads engaging in false flag operations, or people with terrorist tendencies who made a serious mistake. Our actions, about which we won’t go into detail now so as to not make the work of the police or the prosecutor’s mob easier, have always had clear objectives and been carefully designed—based on the time, the location, and the physical characteristics of the chosen targets—to avoid injury to innocent people. We also attempt to limit the damage we cause to the targets we attack, and not to nearby homes. To us, actions are a means of propaganda, agitation, and sabotage. Sometimes they are a means of direct attack, but only when they respond to the murderous police who have killed our brothers and sisters here in the cities or on Mapuche territory, spinelessly shooting them in the back. We have no reason to beg forgiveness for wounded police or the damages to their buildings, because we are proud of ourselves and know that those wounds and damages are nothing compared to the valued lives of our brothers and sisters, which those bloodthirsty vermin brought to an end for a paltry salary from the owners of the country. The moral standards of subversives and revolutionaries can’t be compared with those of the police, and we therefore repeat that we have nothing to do with indiscriminate attacks on the civilian population. On the off chance that the people who attacked that private house chose it at random and come from the anticapitalist milieu, we think they should profoundly rethink their political orientation and their actions, which only benefit the enemy.

On a television program yesterday, Interior Minister Rodrigo Hinzpeter theatrically asked how it was possible that we could coexist for so long with the injustice of people being in prison for not paying a fine. His words would have made us smile had they not been tinged with the shadow of death, coming from a person who supports the genocide of Arabs by Israel, which is where he learned many of his black arts. Prison is part of this system of death, exploitation, and oppression in which a privileged minority enjoy power and wealth while the rest of the population barely survives in a country with one of the world’s worst distributions of income, in a country where the police kill Mapuche, students, and subversive militants with with total impunity and the blessing of concertación politicians or the right, in this bloodstained police democracy. That’s the real tragedy. That’s the real injustice. Not so much that a person who doesn’t pay a fine goes to prison, which is certainly tragic and unjust, but that suit-and-tie terrorists make deals to raise the prices of medicine for pregnant women, children, and the elderly, who will never set foot in prison. Or that we will never see the murderers of Mapuche handcuffed, with media vultures asking them why they did it. No, that type of treatment is reserved for the poor. After all, it’s for the poor that prisons are built. Never will we see landowners pay for the immense damage their forests cause to communities: drying out the soil, preventing the spread of culture, hindering agriculture due to a lack of irrigation, paying the police to shoot children. That’s the real terrorism in this country, which moves its chess pieces to win approval for power stations that pollute nature and poison people, while earnest politicians are delighted to welcome the U.S. ambassador from the comfort of their very progressive presidential easy-chairs. Who are the terrorists? Are they not the same ones who applauded or looked the other way while people were being thrown into the sea, the same ones who are now party members in Mr. Hinzpeter’s coalition government?

To conclude, we offer some information to demonstrate the authenticity of our action and to show anticapitalists that we can all form action groups, that it’s in our hands, that we have never needed leaders or any ridiculous foreign financing. We carried out Friday’s action at night, and we were armed in case things got dicey. We left a bomb consisting of almost two kilos of black powder mixed with powdered aluminum inside an empty fire extinguisher. The charge had a detonation system comprising two cell phones (in case one failed), which provided the necessary energy through a connection to their respective vibrators. The bomb was set to detonate at 9:45 p.m. in an area where no one could have been hurt. It was a symbolic and propagandistic action to mark the first year of the Piñera government. We also claim responsibility for the bomb left in Vitacura near the Las Tranqueras Police Station in January, which sadly failed to explode due to a problem with its detonation system.

Finally, we call on everyone to fight more fiercely and take the streets on March 29, Young Combatant’s Day, to remember our dead and show with fire in the streets that we do not fear Piñera or Hinzpeter’s fascism. We end with a few words that get louder and louder each time rebels shout them in the streets and the prisons:

ATHENS, Greece — Police in Greece say they have defused a mail bomb sent to a maximum security prison in Athens.

Police say the parcel was sent to the governor of Korydallos prison in western Athens. Prison authorities determined that the package was suspicious after scanning it on Thursday.

Police say the package has Italian postage stamps but no postmark.

We live in a time where everything is liquidized. If the previous years what they could offer us was the consumerist debilitation and social evolution, henceforth the only promise is that of a slow death. In the time where the economic crisis becomes more and more deep, more social parts radicalise and stand against the existing. The fight with all means against state and bosses has intensified. From the struggle of Keratea and Lefkimmi, the hunger strike of the 300 immigrants workers, the movement of "I don’t pay", the wild strike clashes in the centres of the metropolises, the sabotage to governmental and capitalistic targets, from arsons to the blowing up of entire structures of the regime by revolutionary organisations.

The state in its turn upgrades its arsenal legally as well as materially and technically having as a main target the extermination of the "internal enemy”. Because the appearance of water canons and the continuous military exercises to repress demonstrations couldn't impose order without new terrorlaws, without new "guillotines" to hang over the heads of the most militant part. The upgrade of demeaning via the media, does not function simply as a spreader of false news. It depoliticizes and presents as simple criminals political subjects, anarchists, revolutionaries and fighters. The cracking down of an internal enemy is of great importance precisely because it is the "dangerous" social-radical part, it is the part that is conscience of itself and fights modern totalitarianism. It’s the regulator of balance, the pledge for the existence and the continuity of capitalism itself. Here the antiterrorist force –the "pride" of the Greek Police- takes control... It creates profiles and it channels them via the press, it raises the secrecy of telephone discussions and transforms friendly relations into "terrorist organizations”. It goes onto the manufacturing of these, as in the case of Ch.Politis. Precisely because there are no margins. The system is ill and the political opponents must be exterminated, and this it makes very clear.

If henceforth for us there is a bet, this is the continuity of the strugle. And a part of this is our solidarity to the imprisoned fighters and political prisoners. If the choice of sabotage of structures of sovereignty is a ruptured and aggressive moment of the social-class war, solidarity is that qualitative relation that links the disparate parts that contribute to destabilisation itself, to the parts that -consciously or not- move against or many times aggressively to the capitalistic structure.

The Autonomous Center in Cologne-Kalk exists nealy since a year. During this time thousands of guests used and created this special place in more than 250 events. The first cinema of the neighbourhood was founded, in many workshops skills were being developped, the weekly unemployed-consultation helped many people in their problems with the Unemployment-agency, concerts gave tha opportunity to local bands to make free appearances, exhibitions met their public, political groups used the house for their work – everything selforganised and uncomercial, without a cent from the city. The idea of a place, where people can enjoy and create culture without depending of their walle, found many new friends.

The squatted ex-cantine of the company KHD had been left empty from the mucinipal savings bank (Sparkasse) and abandonned to its expiration. Without the squatting the result would be more years without use. The squatters were seeking from the beginning the discussion with responsible political persons. In many conversations not only the idea of the Autonomous Center was presented, but also a plan of use and financing opened the way for a cultural center in Cologne.

The mayor named Roters and the municipal savings bank are against a meaningful utilisation of Wiesbergstreet 44. Under flimsy excuses and through desinformation of the public the Autonomous Center is to be evicted and the building to be demolished, without that further plans exist. As allready with the Barmer-quarter in Deutz, the next "most-expensivve-parkingplace-Germanys" is being prepared.

On the national road, an excavating machine that arrived in an attempt to clear up the barricades, was set ablaze by locals.

“Last night just after midnight police station on Wollaton Road, Nottingham was attacked with glass jars filled with black paint. We send this loving kiss to Jock Palfreeman and all those who represented for the eternal struggle against domination on the streets of London this weekend.

We chose our target to emphasise the fragility and weakness of the state. If their first line of defence can be hurt with such ease then cracks in the status quo will grow and begin to bleed. We view the cops as the security guards of capitalists, protecting property, reinforcing white supremacy and state control. With this action we show their inability to protect themselves.

As things get worse, as the divisions between the capitalists and the rest become deeper and more entrenched the fascism inherent in any police force will become ever more clear. As this become the case it will be important for us to know in our angry little hoodlum hearts that we can strike back whenever we choose to.

“In the framework of acting around the mass anti-cuts demo of 26th March 2011, we attacked RBS in Bristol during the night of 24th March 2011.
The main RBS building by Bristol Temple Meads was attacked by an anarchist affinity group armed with stones and glass bottles filled with paint, breaking windows and damaging staff vehicles. RBS, which was bailed out by the government, recently paid 780 million pounds in staff bonuses for the last year, plus 7.7million pounds bonus to RBS boss Stephen Hester. The government makes its money back by clawing it from the people at the base through the implementation of austerity measures and increased living costs, people who are already pushed to their limit.
We have acted outside the dimension of the mass demo on 26th March to make the point that, although some of us also attended there with the mass of the people on the streets of London, it is certain that our attack, solidarity and struggle demand of us that we act as well in our everyday lives and not just in the moment of spectacle. If the struggle stays at a certain level (essentially lobbying for the abolition of this or that law, the granting of certain rights, the manipulation of state finance, attending an ‘event’ etc), then the struggle will remain at a grotesque and unsatisfactory citizenism, perfectly in step with capital.
This action is dedicated to all those trapped in debt and struggling against the capitalist system on these islands, and it is also for those resisting corporate onslaughts abroad. We especially refer to those fighting against the Canadian Tar Sands mining project that RBS is funding, and to the peasants and allies fighting in Kulon Progo, Indonesia, against a similar project to extract iron from their coastline sands. The Indonesian state is not known for its record in human, animal and ecological welfare. Indonesia likes to hide behind the image of pleasurable modern tourism for rich Europeans and their university back-packer sons and daughters armed with gap-year money, mobile phones and laptops, whilst the reality on the ground is very different. British arms companies and banks have helped and continue to facilitate murderous deeds and carnage there.
Finally, we will never forget about the prisoners of the social war in Greece, where a sporadically strong anti-capitalist/anti-authoritarian/anarchist struggle has been happening now for years; this is for Simos Seisidis, who has a trial on 30th March 2011. CLASS War broke out on the streets of London on Saturday, as anarchists attacked banks, shops and other symbols of the capitalism and state.

A huge Black Bloc, at least 500 strong, roamed freely through the West End of the British capital, picking off targets at will with bricks, paintbombs and fireworks.

Sporadic cops attempts to stop the Bloc were met with robust resistance and cops were forced to retreat on more than one occasion.

As riot cops belatedly caught up with the action, the Bloc made a timely re-entry into the main TUC march, where police were unwilling to follow.

More attacks on banks, and the Ritz hotel, followed - to the general approval of the mainstream anti-cuts protesters.

The successful day of high-profile action was only marred by the uninspiring behaviour of those sheep-like protesters who failed to express any anger at all at the neoliberal assault on their communities.

"Splinter groups broke off from the main body of more than 250,000 demonstrators marching from Victoria Embankment to Hyde Park to launch an assault on the capital’s main shopping district.

"Some were hellbent on storming – or destroying – any London landmarks synonymous with luxury or money. Others targeted companies associated with tax avoidance.

"Hundreds laid siege to The Ritz hotel, attacking it with paint and smokebombs. A Porsche showroom was also smashed up and upmarket department store Fortnum & Mason was occupied by about 1,000 activists.

On Thursday the 17th, upon completion of 25 days of the hunger strike, from Buenos Aires, we decided to support our comrades kidnapped by the Chilean State. We descended on the Chilean consulate with banners and leaflets and blocked the roads, reading speeches from a megaphone in front of the consulate and surrounding areas. Then we went to Florida street, where we gave out leaflets to people passing by, explaining the situation that our comrades are living under, many people were supportive. With this humble activity we showed that solidarity has no borders, and even from a distance place we support our imprisoned comrades.

On March 22nd, anarchists in Vancouver, Canada – Occupied Coast Salish Territories, caused a disturbance at the Chilean Consulate and on the street outside. With this we send a strong embrace to our imprisoned companeros on hunger strike in $hile. 14 anarchists and comrades have been framed with conspiracy charges for incendiary explosive attacks against state and capitalist institutions. Nine began an indefinite hunger strike on February 21. Four Mapuche prisoners re-started hunger strike on March 15th.

In Vancouver, Five people shouted “For freedom! For Anarchy! Let the comrades go!”, banged on the locked door and threw leaflets in the hallway outside of the Consulate. Two people opened the door briefly to grab leaflets off the ground as we were leaving.

Meanwhile, on the street 16 floors below, a group unfurled a banner, wielded black flags and distributed leaflets. Three cops responding to a call from the consulate attempted to inform the group of their rights to protest and to locate a leader, but were met only with our cries for freedom and the chant “Cops, Pigs, Murderers”. We didn’t let our rights as “citizens” set the parameters for our actions, rather, these restrictions imposed by the State are what we seek to undermine through our struggle.

Later we reconvened to distribute information outside the Scotia Bank at Broadway and Commercial Drive. Drivers honked their horns in support and passers by showed interest. Canada’s Scotia Bank is expanding it’s investments in resource extraction on indigenous land in $hile. As Stephen McDonald, co-chief executive officer of the bank’s orgraniztion Scotia Capital put it, “We’re going to be more aggressive on that front over the coming years … We’ve been underinvested in the mining sector, so we made a commitment to growing it.” Mapuche people have been defending their land from the threat of mining for years, specifically in the Leu Leu Lake region.

As anarchists we fight to steal back the means of our existence and destroy the State and Capitalism. We act in solidarity with indigenous struggles for land and freedom as we fight against the same enemies and often share parallel goals.

The struggles of our companeros in prison is only isolated if we let it be so. Inside and outside the struggles continue.
The walls are breaking already with each act of solidarity!

After their arrest, the prosecutor in Turin opened an investigation for 270bis and 280bis ['crimes' of association] (as they cannot be tried twice for the same offence charges have been formulated that were not disputed in the proceedings in Switzerland) and requested and were granted access to information gathered by the Swiss authorities to launch a collaborative investigation. So now there is an exchange of information between the Swiss Federal Prosecutor and Turin. In fact at the last interrogation the Digos [Italian political police] and prosecutor of Turin were present. Costa, Billy and Mark have been transferred repeatedly and have been informed that they will be moved frequently, an obvious attempt to retaliate against them. To isolation, blocking the mail, are added sudden transfers with everything that leads to: difficulties in building links with other prisoners, waiting to get one's possessions in the cells they are sent to, one of many ways to bend and curb the ability of prisoners to maintain their active participation in the struggle. The walls of a prison, the bars on the windows, isolation, blocking the mail, do not serve to quell, to crush the desire for freedom of those who are locked up and, their head stubbornly held high, continue to struggle. In his proposal to the Court Council the responsible Public prosecutor Judge of appeals asked to impose on Masouras the restrictive terms of appearance each five days in the police department of his area, to reside in the house of his parents, which is the address he has declared and to prohibit him to exit Attica or the country.

On Sunday night at 1:45am the Tesco's on Hucknall Road was visited by some individuals. As a result of this visit it's front door was smashed and "every little hurts" was written on it's wall. We did this because of hatered for the physical manifestation of capitalism that is Tesco's.

We also did this as gesture of solidarity with the people of Kulon Progo in Indonesia who fight with beauty, rage and defiance against the capitalist forces which are trying to destroy their land. We know our efforts are slight, but they are sent with love for anyone who struggles against the systems of destruction and domination.
We know that capitalism is more than the bricks and mortar these building are made out of them, we know they are more than the companies which work out of these buildings. Capitalism lives in our interactions and our relationships, and we must constantly challenge it. The destruction of property will only ever be one form of this challenge, one tactic that we can use whenever we see fit. But it is one where we are able to share our affinity with one another, learn with one another, develop trust with one another, these acts enable us to temporarily penertrate our relationship with capitalism. Enabling us to prove that it is not infalliable, that it has it's weakness, and we can exploit them.
The expression of our anger against symbols of capitalism empowers us and deepens our desire to deform the control that capitalist society has over us. We will not just sit back and let companies like Tesco's go unchallenged as they attempt to rip right through the communities of which we're a part. Tesco's are the epitomy of corporate exploitation and monoplisation. Profiting from the commodification of our diets, our nurishment and our relationship with the earth. The chain of commodities of which they're apart is a chain where everything and everyone suffers. Well fuck you tesco's, fuck you coporate destroyers of the earth and everything living in it.

Third Demo in Support of Strikers in chili

A new demo in solidarity with our comrades kidnapped who are holding a hunger strike was made in Santiago last wednesday. After 17 days of the start of their strike in prison, around 500 people got together to rally in the streets and show they rejection against the media circus and lies that keeps 14 anarchists and anti-authoritarian comrades in a justice process facing terrorism charges.

In the place, the Third statement from the strikers and some pamphlets with the situation of the comrades were shared.

The order from the state to stop the demo was ignored and it was made avoiding police. The lame part is that police made arrests against anybody they can catch, even if they were not part of the demo.

A few days ago, D.M., one of the comrades arrested and charged with belonging to CCF gave Korkoneas, the cop murderer of Alexis Grigoropoulos - that was in the same wing in Domokos prison - a small part of what he deserves.

The screws apparently fell on them to divide them and save the murderer and eventually took him to another wing.

Letter from The Heraklion (Crete) anarchists’ assembly about what followed PIKPA squat eviction on February 16th and calling for solidarity actions on March 8th.Comrades and Friends we greet you,
With this letter we’d like to inform you about the latest events here in Heraklion, to share with you some current issues that preoccupy us and present some suggestions in relation with solidarity moves.
The fact that the regime targets at the people and spaces that lay the foundations for the existence of broader brewings which will lead to its subversion is not something new. Such efforts have taken place in the past a well, yet we assess that they will be more tense in the future, at the same time with the severe repression we all suffer. Being conscious of the fact that if we didn’t run up against the invasion in PIKPA (one of the two local squats), we would count with a negative consignment for our future (and not only for our city), we decided to proceed in a chain of actions.

Among the other results of these actions we suffered the arrest of 4 comrades of ours (after a demonstration that made straight for the squat, several hours after its evacuation by the state). Two of these comrades were accused of felonious acts (and avoided the temporary incarceration under the obligation of paying a 40.000 euros’ guaranty altogether) and the other two of indictable offenses (with a corresponding guaranty of 6.000 euros altogether). For this reason we’ve created a solidarity fund for the arrested comrades.
Relying on the values of solidarity and comradeship amongst those who struggle against the requisitions of the rulers, we appeal to you, so that:
1. you support the solidarity fund the way you judge (for example, by organizing various events and happenings for the financial support of the 4). This way we ‘ll be able to live up to the enormous judicial expenses and the guaranties of the comrades, especially concerning the 46.000 euros’ guaranties, which we are to pay down within 15 calendar days from the moment of the judgment that will follow our lodge of appeal against the size of this huge sum (the lawyer lodged the appeal in 1/3/11 and the sum could potentially be diminished). The collected money will be sent to bank accounts that will be sent to you within the forthcoming days, after a communication among us takes place for this specific issue. ABOUT SOLIDARITY

The Assembly for Solidarity came together in April 2010 as a result of the discussion that was developed at the anti-repression event on 16/3/2010 at the Polytechnic in Athens, but also beyond it. It is a mono thematic formation consisting of individuals and collectives of various tendencies and perceptions. Its aim is to focus with duration, continuity and consistency on State repression, recognizing it as one of the many fronts of the social war, which however reveals the nature of State savagery in the political field as well. The assembly aims for the organization and spread of solidarity, its transmission through the oppressed social body as a direct answer to State repression, as well as a weapon of the oppressed in the social war.

While it constitutes an autonomous formation that doesn't claim to represent anyone but those participating in it, it perceives itself as part of the anarchist movement and informally seeks to coordinate with the different conditions it encounters.

Even though we consider repression something multifaceted but unitary (an essential element of every mechanism of power), the combination of necessities that emerge forces us to select which aspects of repression we will deal with, in a word, to set priorities. Thus, our priority today is the cases of repression that present a political, revolutionary content. In that direction, over the months that we have functioned, we have organized dozens of struggles and interventions in a period of escalation of the attack (or counter-attack) of the State that is leading to a wider and wider spectrum of repressive blows. This situation has locked us in a permanent “practical rush”, at the same time as political problems from the past on the subject remain unsolved, while new ones are accumulating. The present text is an attempt by the assembly to define itself and face these problems. It does not constitute a text of values nor does it aspire to end discussion within the movement, which, though widespread, does not happen in a coordinated way and with difficulty produces results. It is a recording of positions of value based and political dilemmas that we all continuously find ourselves faced with, but also an attempt for an organized spreading and deepening of this discussion.

What solidarity and for whom?

We fixed as a priority solidarity in cases with a political, revolutionary content. Solidarity, that is to say, that should exist in the community of those whose words and actions bring them to a conscious rupture with the system of sovereignty and exploitation. A community that we perceive as value based, a result of our own participation in the social war. This means that, independently of strategies or tactics, independently of tendencies and currents, we perceive the existence of a vertical (often faded) line that separates worlds. As the world of authority, despite the merciless conflicts within it, maintains for itself the fundamental and material unit of complicity, this we consider should also happen on the other side, that of a society that is being attacked. And even more between the parts of this society that fight. The vertical line of segregation becomes clear when the state imports its repressive violence into this struggle, each time that the terms or even the whole of the social contract are disputed.

Here is where (contrary to other fronts of the social war) the existence of this fundamental community cannot but be proven.

In the name of consistency of values, words and actions but also from the fact that, whether we like it or not, authority will not forget, investing its individual victories, to improve its position in the social war.

The moment charges are pronounced (real or fabricated) concerning a political action (whether it is an expression of belief or for armed struggle) a conflict begins. To remain a spectator, unfortunately, does not mean that “you are not getting involved”. It means that you are taking the side of the more powerful.

So, “all the good ones” fit into solidarity?

No, but surely more than those who fit into the offices of a group or within the framework of a political assembly. When we do not have a set-up prosecution, obviously the matter is who will define and how, the political - revolutionary content. Often the defendant will give a political tone to the act (as e.g. in bank robberies), at other times the action itself has such political references and repercussions that it is no longer the “property” of the prosecuted and concerns everyone. In other cases it is the state itself that will politically colour its violence, imposing the agenda that it wishes.

The Assembly for Solidarity is a live process and each case that comes up is examined separately. Having filled a series of ethical conditions, with the nature of the action turned against authority, and the prisoner maintaining a decent attitude, blocking the extension of repression and promoting his/her position in the social war and of course in the cases of fabrications and vengeful prosecutions, then yes, it is clear for us that we should mobilize.

Is the prisoner thus politically vindicated because he/she was caught?

No. Holy cows do not exist. Each act and choice will be evaluated, will be “criticized”, will go on the scales. No matter how much governmental violence is applied, no matter how proud the attitude of the prisoner, his or her political choices are in the arena, as are also the actions and the choices of those “on the outside”, in solidarity or not.

The question, however, is whose job is it to intervene in this criticism. We consider that this is the job of political organizations and individuals, it is the job of processes and structures that draw a policy, but also of the prosecuted themselves.

The job of a general structure of solidarity is to deal with the community in which all these are encompassed, it concerns a base value, a fundamental policy, not a strategy. If it makes the mistake of importing into its interior, making its presence dependent upon, factors of tight political agreement, then not only does it cancel itself but also functions negatively in its entirety in the struggle for subversion. It will achieve nothing other than its multiple splits, as well as the scorn of every ambitious argument of ours for solidarity among the oppressed. It will be a fast road to ridicule.

The attitude of the greatest part of the radical left concerning the prisoners of 17N (the 17^th November Revolutionary Organization) is the precise description of what should be avoided. The detached whistling, conspiracy theories, statements of loyalty… once again proving how disastrous it is to examine repression while forgetting to put half of reality in the framework: the state and its targets. It was proved yet again that authority manages to change silence into complicity, an always topical chant that we should all remember no matter how difficult it is. On the contrary, despite the fact that they were not “charmed”, particularly by the political aims and many of the actions of this organization, the attitude of the anarchists (the most part of them at least) was the one that not only rose to the occasion, but also socially rescued the prestige of anti-institutional practices and slowed down the spreading of repression.

For us, since the case is accepted in the first level that we consider concerns us, the disagreement or agreement with what the prisoner did, when he accepts his action, cannot go on the table of solidarity. Solidarity does not mean engagement. Even somebody that could consider specific choices of struggle completely wrong, has in the end the obligation to not allow the state to vindicate its own criminal choices, to not remove the state from the picture. If of course negative criticism becomes provocative or is drawn up in a repressive climate, then the thing changes. Whoever plays around with loyalty (or lunacy) has nothing to do with what is written here. They have made other choices.

About innocence and guilt.

Since we speak of a solidarity focused on political subjects in struggle, although as anarchists we refuse, totally, the social contract (and each choice of struggle is characterized first of all by the side of social war in which it is included), then the significance of legal innocence or guilt does not exist for us. Obviously, in the usual cases where a case is completely or partly fabricated by the authorities, things are much easier. Solidarity that seeks to be transmitted to as many as possible wider layers of oppressed has a weapon: factual proof of the democratic lie of the regime.

It has also a “facility”: someone does not need to dispute the social contract in order to stand on the side of the persecuted. A “facility” of course, that carries the danger of being led to the support of a fantasized (but insistently propagated by authority) civil legality. On the other hand, when the prisoner takes responsibility solidarity becomes much more rupturing and has to place the question of choosing camps: not between the choices of the prosecuted and the state, but between the dominated that fight actively and power that claims the monopoly of violence. There, of course, the direct objective of solidarity becomes more difficult. Because the direct objective cannot be any other than the release of the prisoner. Provided that he or she remains a fighter, “taking him/her from their clutches” is the heart of every single campaign. We have also cases where the attitude of the prisoner changes. Where they start off speaking of “innocence” and afterwards admit “guilt”. We believe that, despite the complex matters that open up with such an attitude, it is the absolute right of the persecuted to lie to authority even if this means that at the same time they tell lies to their own side. Such is the nature of every repressive attack: it creates such blackmailing dilemmas to everyone that it does not allow the creation of a savoir vivre of “correct attitude” in a prosecution. This does not eliminate the content of a reliable and proud attitude. On the contrary it reveals it.

Finally, however, we consider that (we repeat it, since it goes through the essential political filter) the line of defence is the exclusive affair of each prisoner separately. For solidarity, the moment of prosecution, the acceptance of each defensive line and movement is not a choice, it is a duty. Any other attitude threatens to play the game of authority that seeks such cracks.

Closing

The Assembly for Solidarity is an open formation within which coexist different, and at certain times opposing, political perceptions. We consider that through this we are covering, in an organized way, an imperative need in the social war. And we are covering it by going beyond individual agreements or disagreements among ourselves or with those prosecuted. Also going beyond the logic of close friends and microcosms that often (and this should be recognized) carried the weight of important matters of solidarity in the past alone, without, however, the necessary continuity and totality that the current situation requires more than ever. Our interventions have a direct relation to our strength. This is why we are calling upon individuals and collectives to approach the attempt. And this text and our presence up until now give us a clear image of “where we are going”. From now on we are neither taking on the job of solidarity, nor are we those that “do the chores”. We are willing to collaborate (and we have done it) on the basis of clear procedures with other formations of solidarity for the carrying out of actions on a larger scale. What is important is that we respond to the attacks of the state, to stand effectively on the side of its hostages, with our position clear in the struggle for social liberation.

And this is how we will continue.

The uprisings in Tunisia and Egypt seem to be inspiring insurgents in many other countries. From Algeria to Bahrain, Iran, Libya, Yemen and Syria, many people are taking to the streets to launch strikes at the workplace, clash with police, pass to looting and the burning of buildings of State and economic power. It is a wind of revolt that is blowing across these countries, it is a wind that gives courage, a wind that carries the message that no regime, no matter how authoritarian it is, is unassailable. No poverty, no oppression is ever safe from a devastating social tempest.

We can not predict in which direction these storms will go, but what is certain is that at such insurrectional moments everything comes out in the open air. Contradictions erupt before everyone's eyes, and a regime that collapses shows that oppression routed may hide another.

Some insurgents may well think that salvation will come from a democratic regime, even if in turn it will perpetuate social inequality and exploitation. Others believe that the time has come to wield national flags, forgetting that the poor will never have a homeland, unaware that nationalism always leads to killings, internment camps for the "others", and endless wars. Still others may want to establish an Islamic regime, subjecting everyone to the fierce sharia, suffocating freedom in an even more insidious way than the current authoritarian regimes.

But that's not all. For many people rebel simply because they have had enough. Enough of being oppressed and silenced, sick of being poor and at the mercy of the bosses, tired of living in miserable conditions, without happiness or dream. This "no" is certainly just a start but it's a no that paves the way, perhaps also, as one can already read in some accounts of insurgents, of experimentation of a kind that is different to democracy, religion, nationalism and money. Experimentation with forms of self-organization among the people involved far beyond the State, of solidarity and mutual aid among people away from all exploitation, of liberation from fixed or imposed social roles. That is what frightens the powerful, but also those who aspire to become so: that the insurgents are experimenting and becoming aware that they have no need for the powerful, old or new, corrupt or "honest" dictatorial or "elected". That all power, all bosses will always prevent them from living a free life, from organizing freely among themselves. It is this spectre of freedom, showing its beauty and possibility in these moments of rebellion, which scares all those who want to retain or grab power.

Now, let us also welcome the spectre of freedom, let's destroy the mental boundaries between here and there that we built in our heads. Let's dare to cry loud and clear that we have no country, we do not want any government at all. That we will drive out not only the ambassadors of these Arab countries in ferment from their villas in Brussels, but we will also also chase all politicians and all bosses off their seats. And not to take them in turn, but to destroy them forever. The best support, the best solidarity with the insurgents in the Arab world, is to pave the way for the liberating rebellion.

The courts in flames

During the uprising in Tunisia, 14 courts have been burned by the insurgents. Also many prisons are still out of use after the attacks and riots. The new order is beginning to establish itself in Tunisia, even if it must face tenacious resistance in the streets (protests, riots and attacks against banks, police stations, supermarkets, governments continue while "the new police" do not hesitate to shoot rioters). A key concern of the Minister of the Interior is obviously to restore the repressive apparatus. He "is counting for that on the financial assistance of the European Union" which certainly does not refuse to support another State seeking to give itself the means to subjugate the population. In addition, the Minister has rehabilitated all the judges of the regime of Ben Ali, who have since resumed their posts.

The barricades are leading the way

In Algeria, one of the most intense points of the rioting in course is in the town of Akbou. The spark was the decision of the prefect of police to evict the 495 housing units, occupied since early January by many families. They did not let them do it and opposed rocks, barricades and petrol bombs at police. Currently, the housing is still occupied and despite appeals for calm from the "sages of the community" the riots continue and are spreading to more areas of the city. Several banks, a police station and employment office have been ransacked or torched by insurgents. Barricades have been erected on the important road RN26A linking Vgayet and Tizi-Ouzou, thereby blocking economic traffic, a widespread practice elsewhere in the rest of the country (Naciria, El Harrouch, Sidi Amar, Bordj Menaïel, Tazmalt). The barricades almost always lead to serious clashes between insurgents and security forces, which then continue in the neighbourhoods. Thus, the insurgents are able to remove the monopoly of space from law enforcement, choosing their battlefields themselves, pushing the trap of being caught in a clash in central ground fertile for law enforcement.

Democracy or not, it's time to revolt

In southern Iraq, in different towns, hundreds of demonstrators took to the streets to protest against the miserable living conditions. The events have all ended in clashes with the security forces of the "young democracy" established after the invasion of Western troops. In addition, many government buildings have been delivered to the flames. For some time, the tension towards social struggle (strikes in factories, demonstrations not controlled by either the state or by the Islamists, ...) is beginning to regain strength in Iraq, a country torn by military occupation, a police democracy and a war waged by Islamists in part against the occupation but also against the Iraqi people to impose Islam. The state has tried to buy the angry protesters, promising them a certain amount of watts of electricity free annually.

Where people rise up, the shadow of authority goes down

In Libya, despite the attempts by the Gaddafi regime to immediately and brutally suppress the rebellion, the situation has become particularly tense in the cities of Al-Baida and Benghazi. There, armed clashes between police and insurgents left dozens dead. Also, militias in the pay of the regime are vainly trying to crush any attempt at revolt with terror. In the prison of Benghazi, in parallel with the fighting in the street, a mutiny broke out, allowing not only the destruction of a large part of the prison but also the escape of many prisoners. Many of these prisoners joined the insurgents in the burning of several buildings of power, including the building of the Attorney-General, a police station, several banks and offices of the Police. Meanwhile, at the time of publication of this issue, the uprising has embraced the whole country, pitting a variety of armed insurgents against Gaddafi's police and militias.

At least 25 killed in Yemen crackdown on protests

At least 25 people were killed and hundreds injured when police opened fire Friday at hundreds of thousands of protesters gathered in the Yemeni capital Sana'a. Doctors claims that as many as 42 demonstrators were killed by government forces.
Security men in civilian clothes on the rooftops of surrounding houses opened live fire on protesters, apparently shooting to kill by aiming at the head and chest, an eyewitness told the German Press Agency DPA.

They also used tear gas and water cannons hoping to disperse the protesters who were demonstrating to demand the ouster of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, he added.

“in the sphere of politics”, as he said, included G.Arsenis (ex-minister of education), the incendiary device explosion in September 2009 outside the apartment, where he lives with his wife Louka Katseli, testifying in the trial.

The explosion was on the 23d of September of 2009, amidst an election period, and the same day the cops raided H.Hadjimihelakis house which led to the arrests of the comrades. He said that the explosion was not big but there was thick smoke in the apartment block. He also said that the windows broke but the prosecutor reminded that the fire brigade broke them in order to let the smoke out.

THE COPS GIVE BIRTH TO BAGS!

The garbage bags with the “suspicious content”, which are the basic evidence of the case, from three became four, and later were multiplied. When the comrades advocate asked the superior of the Research Office how it is possible “that the bags multiplied in the police offices” and how it is possible inside three half full bags to find “so many small bags that you could fill a small truck”, he answered he does not know why the number kept going up, however he stated with certainty that in his office “there is no way someone ‘filled in’ the bags”.

The superior of the research lab admitted that there were no reports made of evidence findings.

The superior of the Information office mentioned that during the surveillance of the house in Halandri, which was later baptized a “safehouse”, there was no document proving what time and who had shifts outside the house, while he destroyed the notes he had kept.

The testimonies of friends and fellow students of the accused, spoke of a normal student house, in which they had noticed nothing unusual.

16/03/2011 - MANAMA, Bahrain At least five people are dead after soldiers and riot police drove anti-government protesters out of a square in Bahrain's capital today.
The assault on the protesters' camp began at daybreak when soldiers and police stormed Pearl Square in armored vehicles, firing tear gas. Black smoke could be seen rising from the area from protesters' tents set ablaze.
Witnesses says at least two protesters were killed in the initial assault, while hospital officials say a third protester later died from gunshot wounds in his back.
A government statement says two policemen died when they were "repeatedly run over by three vehicles containing protesters leaving the fringes of the scene."
The Interior Ministry says another policeman was killed yesterday.
It's unclear whether a contingent of soldiers from other Gulf nations took part in the offensive.

Data show many arson incidents in which vehicles caught fire occurred that night in Athens. The first was in Psiri at 22:55, when when a private car went up in flames

Shortly before one at 00:58 a fire broke out in 2 cars without number plates at a yard for parts, 85 Republic Avenue Menidi.

At 1:33 a fire erupted in the municipality of Kifissia, a car parked at 13 Anaxagoras Road in New Eritrea.

A few minutes later, at 1:42, a car at 35 Michail Voda Road in Athens was completely destroyed by fire, which caused damage to another car and two motorcycles.

At 2:10 flames engulfed three cars parked in an outdoor car park at 57 Lakovaton Street, Kato Patissia, leading to one being completely
destroyed and the two others being damaged.

The last case recorded was at 2:20 in Paleo Faliro, with two vehicles, one of the diplomatic corps and one without number plates which caught fire while they were parked at 14 Nazliou Road.

That's why on the night of March 10 we attacked the following sites in Barcelona

-A bank (Savings and Pension Bank of Barcelona) in the Sagrera neighborhood with the use of a homemade incendiary device consisting of flammable liquid, a homemade initiator, and a slow fuse.

-A Santander bank branch on Passeig Maragall, through the destruction of its windows.

-15 banks in Gracia through the gluing of their doors and cash machines.

We want to dedicate these small gestures of attack to all the insurgents across the globe, with a special eye towards the 10 anarchists incarcerated in Chile on hunger strike, prisoners within the so-called "bombs case." For them and all the other indomitables an insurrectionary greeting.

Revolt and sabotage are easy and reproducible. Anyone in any place can, individually or collectively, put them into practice. Let us extend the attacks against this infected system, and solidarity towards those who suffer it and towards those who are repressed by it.

Bahrain Security Forces Launch Assault On Protesters In Manama

Demonstrators said at least two people were killed after the full-scale assault swept into Pearl Square in Manama, which has been the centre of uprising against Bahrain's rulers since it began more than a month ago.

MANAMA, March 14 (Xinhua) — Over 100 prisoners detained at the Hidd detention center escaped on Monday, sparking fear of increasing unrest in the country.
Sources confirmed to Xinhua that a total of 110 prisoners escaped from the prison and sought shelter in a nearby labor accommodation. Prison authorities launched a search operation and caught most of the inmates, but two prisoners were still at large.
Over 100 riot police were injured during clashes with anti- government protestors on Sunday near the Bahrain Financial Harbor. State run-Bahrain Television on Monday stated that some policemen were taken hostage by protestors, however there was no official confirmation.

update on Aris Sirinidis trial athens

In the court was the same prosecutor who had ordered the pre-trial detention of Aris and it was deemed discriminatory (at least) from the side of the comrade. The defense's request to change the prosecutor was accepted and the trial continued for a while until it was interrupted. Outside the courtroom, where the people who gathered in solidarity tried to enter there was a minor scuffle with a unit of YMET (special forces) who rushed to the spot to stop them. Also Aris defence insisted on a further 2 points: 1st: In the examining of the DNA only by the forensic laboratories of the greek police without it being examined by any other scientific laboratory and 2nd that Aris had an alibi because he was in a cafe and the prosecutor claimed that he left, changed clothes shot and then changed clothes and went back to the cafe. The second is an extreme scenario that can not stand in a court because it is malicious and intends to condemn the accused.

The trial continues on the 17^th of March at the appeals court.

Doubts were expressed after testifying in the trial of the case of the revolutionary organization "Conspiracy Cells of Fire", by the cop who had recognized the face of the accused, Konstandina Karakatsani, the girl who was seen entering the house in Halandri.

Policeman A’, Paraskevas Hinopoulos, who headed the operation of surveillance on the home in Halandri the alleged safehouse of the organization, responding to questions from the defense, today was skeptical about whether Konstandina Karakatsani is the same person as the girl who he saw coming and going from the apartment.

"they had pointed out to me another girl as Karakatsani. The girl I see here today I don’t think is the Karakatsani that I thought", said the witness, after the persistent questioning by the defense.

Earlier, testified the former deputy Interior Minister, in charge for matters of public order, Panagiotis Hinofotis on the bombing that took place at his house in Paleo Faliro on July 11, 2009, an act which was claimed by the “Conspiracy Cells of Fire”.

Testifying, Mr. Hinofotis mentioned the explosion was very small, saying it could not harm a human.

En el 14 de Agosto de 2010, un maravilloso espectáculo represivo ha tomado lugar en las ciudades chilenas de Santiago y Valparaíso conduciendo à la persecución de 14 personas, 8 de las cuales han sido encarceladas y acusadas de todos los ataques armados, con explosivos e incendiarios, que han acontecido en los últimos 3 años, en contra de objetivos del estado y del capital en el país. La única prueba concreta que los ha llevado a la cárcel es su identidad política, que es sintetizada por sus círculos sociales y sus actividades de lucha.

Andrea Urzúa, Camilo Pérez, Carlos Riveros, Felipe Guajardo, Francisco Solar, Mónica Caballero, Pablo Morales, Rodolfo Retamales, que desde entonces están encarcelados, libran una lucha muy importante desde el 21-2-2011, en que han empezado una huelga de hambre exigiendo su libertad así como la abolición de la ley antiterrorista. Nada mas empezar la huelga, otros 2 compañeros han sido reenviados a la cárcel después de un periodo de arresto domiciliario. Vinicio Aguillera y Omar Hermosilla se han unido à la huelga 2 días después. A través de este posicionamiento todos ellos demuestran claramente que no están dispuestos a resignarse en las jaulas de le democracia. A través de su segunda exigencia, han conseguido quebrar el aislamiento social que formaba parte de los planes del estado, poniendo en evidencia la profunda dimensión política de su caso la cual es significativamente importante para todas las luchas sociales. El arsenal de la ley, que todos los estados totalitarios modernos tienen a su disposición, es una herramienta para la eliminación de cualquiera que sea un enemigo consciente en contra del dominio. Aunque sean los anarquistas los principales receptores de la violencia enmascarada por las leyes, la fuerza de la ley del terror no va extinguirse después de ellos. El resultado de esta lucha será un legado histórico para el movimiento que no quedara atrapado dentro de las fronteras de ningún país. Que suceda entonces lo mismo con la solidaridad que sera expresada, desde todos los rincones de este planeta, para con estos compañeros.

Nosotros les deseamos mucha fuerza hasta la liberación. Nos quedamos juntos a ellos en esta difícil lucha contra las mazmorras del estado, contra el proceso judicial discriminatorio y clasista, contra las alcantarillas de los media y contra todos aquellos que intentaran bloquear su camino hacia la libertad.

Αλληλεγγύη με τους Χιλιανούς πολιτικούς κρατούμενους που βρίσκονται σε απεργία πείνας (23η ημέρα)

Τα αδιέξοδα της καπιταλιστικής κυριαρχίας, η εξουσιαστική βία και η πολεμική στρατηγική για την απενεργοποίηση του εσωτερικού εχθρού είναι πλέον καταφανή χαρακτηριστικά σε όλα τα κράτη στα οποία αναπτύσσονται οργανωμένες κοινωνικές αντιστάσεις. Στις 14 Αυγούστου 2010 πραγματοποιείται ένα κατασταλτικό υπερθέαμα στις πόλεις Σαντιάγκο και Βαλπαραΐσο στη Χιλή με αποτέλεσμα τη δίωξη 14 ατόμων και την προφυλάκιση 8 εξ' αυτών τα οποία βαραίνουν κατηγορίες για όλες τις ένοπλες, εκρηκτικές και εμπρηστικές επιθέσεις που συνέβησαν μέσα στα τελευταία τρία χρόνια ενάντια σε κρατικούς και καπιταλιστικούς στόχους μέσα στη χώρα. Το μόνο επαρκές στοιχείο για την προφυλάκισή τους είναι η πολιτική τους ταυτότητα, που συντίθεται απο την αγωνιστική τους δραστηριότητα και τους κοινωνικούς τους κύκλους.

Με την έναρξη αυτού του αγώνα άλλοι δυό σύντροφοι οδηγήθηκαν ξανά στη φυλακή μετά απο μία περίοδο κατ' οίκον περιορισμού. Οι Vinicio Aguillera και Omar Hermosilla ενσωματώθηκαν στον αγώνα δύο μέρες αργότερα. Όλοι μαζί ξεκαθαρίζουν με αυτή τους τη στάση πως δεν πρόκειται να υποταχθούν μέσα στα κελιά της δημοκρατίας. Ακυρώνουν στην πράξη τους κρατικούς σχεδιασμούς για την κοινωνική τους απομόνωση καταδεικνύοντας μέσω του δεύτερου αιτήματος την βαθύτατη πολιτική διάσταση της υπόθεσής τους η οποία είναι χαρακτηριστικής σημασίας για όλους τους κοινωνικούς αγώνες. Το νομικό οπλοστάσιο που διαθέτουν τα σύγχρονα ολοκληρωτικά καθεστώτα αποτελεί εργαλείο εξόντωσης κάθε συνειδητού εχθρού της κυριαρχίας. Αν και βασικοί αποδέκτες της νομικοφανούς βίας είναι οι αναρχικοί αγωνιστές δεν πρόκειται η ισχύς του τρομοκρατικού νόμου να εξαντληθεί σε αυτούς. Η έκβαση αυτού του αγώνα θα αποτελέσει ιστορική και κινηματική παρακαταθήκη η οποία δεν πρόκειται να μείνει εγκλωβισμένη εντός των συνόρων καμμιάς χώρας. Να συμβεί λοιπόν το ίδιο και με την αλληλεγγύη που θα εκφραστεί προς τους συντρόφους απο όλα τα μήκη και πλάτη του πλανήτη.

Ευχόμαστε δύναμη στους συντρόφους μέχρι τη λευτεριά. Έχουν τη συμπαράστασή μας στον δύσκολο αγώνα τους ενάντια στα απάνθρωπα κρατικά κολλαστήρια, την ταξική και μεροληπτική δικαστική εξουσία, τον οχετό των μηντια αλλά και οποιονδήποτε άλλο μπεί μπροστά τους στο δρόμο για την απελευθέρωση.

LETTER FROM K.KARAKATSANI

1. About the "Agreement"

Avoiding public controversy, I could not answer the statement of those who claim my attitude in order to put together the pieces of their scattered obtuseness. But I am doing it, to be consistent in my commitment to the wider struggle. I do not intend to step on the backs of others to rise seemingly, either way I have things to say.
But it would be very cheap and also would not help the political situation, to limit myself to what we said and what we did not say with some. The essential ruptures liberate so now I have no hesitation to break the taboo of public criticism of fighting actions. And of course, since some spoke more than they deserve, I have to mention issues that I would otherwise consider have no place in a public text. First, therefore, I will clarify my position, but i seek also to give food for thought from the moment we stand embarrassed in front of unfamiliar situations.
I will begin with the matter of the "agreement" that supposedly I made with my co-defendants. They wrote that they "talked seriously about the possibility of the trial to happen behind closed doors and how they would react to this possibility. From my side, I never participated in such discussions did not move on any pre-planned common action. The only thing mentioned to me, was the matter of the audience, ie not to let cops occupy seats so the largest possible number of people in solidarity can enter the room. This was the only thing we had reached an agreement on and all other requests came suddenly into the spotlight. Which means, their claim was not the product of an understanding or at least I did not know such a thing. Of course I did not express any objections to any demands and what happened the first day had my consent. Certainly for a moment I viewed the withdrawal as a gesture of protest because no one knew of the possibility of a trial in absentia. From the moment we were informed about it, everything came under discussion again and while I was possessed with skepticism, I avoided making hasty moves and statements that I could not process, within the very tight time frame. So, I did not commit to something, leaving temporarily a gap in my attitude. And because i functioned completely individually, like I intended, I did not communicate my thoughts to anyone. So, if I left room for misinterpretation, it was my fault and I accept it of course. Between that I agreed to enter demands and that I agreed to be tried in absentia, is a great distance. That I was asked and "assured that I still agree" and other such things that were written, is obscene lies.On the contrary they knew that I have not told my lawyers that i will cease them. But anyway, since the beginning of this case up to now I move completely independently, so I think I have not given any impression to my co-defendants, so they can imagine such agreements, that prerequisite proper consultation, the intention of fighting coexistence and comrade feeling. Concepts certainly that do not characterize our relations .. and made it clear to them, by telling them in the holding cells from the start: "you should know that i do not feel any unity with any of you".
Meanwhile, in the intervening week until the next court, it should have been to everyone visible my differentiation from this situation: my lawyers do not participate in the press conference, my parents do not sign the text of the other parents, I do not align myself with texts and statements of the others. It is therefore obvious that I am handling this case alone and I will never proceed to cooperate with some, that as more suspicious now, I think that perhaps they wanted to turn the trial into a spectacular blockbuster and would find a reason either way to do so. (To be honest I do not think they all had the same intention)

2.about the court

In a previous letter I have already referred briefly to the reasons I chose not to leave the trial. We have as first fact, a court in full alignment with the regime's totalitarianism. This is anything but surprising, as it is included in the overall context of the "special treatment" of dissidents, where everything is converted to "special". Transport conditions, conditions of detention, conditions of litigation. And we experience it as "special" arrested, imprisoned, accused. Through this, expressions such as "legitimizing the practice of the judges" is the definition of a superficial approach. Nobody goes voluntarily to a court. So when any revolutionary is in a court with "special" features he/she "legitimizes" its practices, and therefore its existence? When they transfer you with bulletproof vests and stretched out automatic machine guns, you legitimize this process, and hence the existence of the anti-terrorist police? When we were in the offices of the prosecutors, did we "legalize" them as well? When you are a prisoner, again against your will, do you "legitimize" the existence of prisons? And because we are in places that naturally have hostile characteristics (holding cells, courts, prisons), generally what we do is to "legitimize" state terrorism? Eventually, everyone can experience in our time such procedures, but the question is how we stand in them. And if anyone still believes that the presence in court means "legalization ", then they would do well not to attend any proceedings for this case, nor another, nor to the appeals courts. Because the id cards will continue to be held and generally the same conditions will not cease to exist. We will be here. No one else, except time will decide who is consistent in his choices. To not attend a trial demeaning it, is a respectable choice of denial. Not going to a trial because you wanted to do something and it did not work out and you are trapped in your own selfishness is a result of bad strategy.

As for me, I'll be there in order not to become a spectator of my conviction, especially when it is a case in which I do not accept the charges and my prosecution in general. And of course, every trial of such type can not but target from our side to the confrontation with the state, the emergence and diffusion of subversive ideas. And not to consume the insurrection of each one, creating a force field although strong, ineffective.

3.about the hunger strike.

Soon the situation slipped from the bipolar of presence or absence from the trial. It took other dimensions, when it was decided by some to start a hunger strike, in order to return to the trial after their demand concerning the holding of the identities is met, something which was obviously impossible. If the mobilization was decided considering no one will go to the trial (as they said), then the trial would finish rapidly. The strike would not have had time to evolve, the sentences would be announced, the state would have ignored this mobilization and it would have been permanently exempted from the Halandri case, without any discomfort. And on the other hand we dispersed in prisons all over the place with a sense of dissatisfaction on our consciences. With these facts, it is worth wondering where they base the assertion "we could have achieved a significant victory". Not only there was no chance of victory, but in my opinion, the matter was also placed on a wrong base. The defeat was prescribed and that is why there was an attempt to avoid the strike. In the end it started a week late, for selfish reasons, just because it was announced.

And in the end, my presence at the trial marked the gaining of time. If the hunger strikers had taken their task seriously, they could see this as an opportunity to carry out their struggle. To exploit the duration of the trial, bringing the strike to the point where their health would put more pressure, and hopefully on the horizon would appear a promising prospect. But since they gave up, probably its not me who cannot take the weight! Personally I was not interested in any way to occupy myself with this move, since I saw from the beginning the unsuited exaggeration and non-productivity, so I cannot be attributed with any role of influence to it. The state is pressured by those who strike not those eating.

And to finish with the games to impress, let it be clear that these individuals, although they perceived the dead-end of this option, they thought they could not backtrack to not look like they are retreating and so they found in me a perfect excuse to retreat . And of course, when they were in front of their responsibilities, in order to not recognize that they were trapped by their wrong handling, attempted my moral and political obsolescence, in order for their own credibility to remain intact.
Besides, my attitude was which suited everyone. First: me who I said clearly I did not want to be tried in absentia, nor did I agree to it, second, the piece that also did not want, but expected the divisive factor Karakatsani to take the blame, but also the remaining piece looking for a smooth exit from the hunger strike. This is the piece that unloaded on me all the responsibilities in the review of a political failure of hunger strikers. Which better not be historically recorded as such, but as a result of a political imbalance, because then it reaches the point of commoditization of the instrument, its individual goals and achievements. To not historically be recorded as such, since the movement's legacy remains alive the vivid memory of the hunger striker Christophoros Marinos in 1995 for his liberation, of the Turkish political prisoners in 2000 who were on strike for the white cells dropping dead one after another, the hunger striker Holger Meins exterminated by the German state after forced feeding in 1974, etc. Remain alive the memories to remind us that the strike is not a simple painless instrument but means of struggle in which is compromised the health and life of those who decide to use it. Alive or Dead. Either a winner and standing or a loser and lying down. A middle situation does not exist and no Karakatsani is an excuse to retreat. So lets be a little more modest. An honest self-criticism would have more chances to win the respect, unlike the responsibility feared backlash move, which cast the burden on my shoulders.

I am and I will remain INCONSISTENT for those who trivialize practices and demean forms of struggle that have historically been landmarks of struggles in revolutionary procedures.

INCSINCERE for those who shift their responsibilities to others, relegating even any sense of self criticism . I am and always will be DISRUPTIVE for those who choose moves that are on the verge of self victimization and give reasons to useless subjects to speak of me politically, who sabotage the revolutionary vision, more efficiently than dominance itself. (referring only to the arson in the Law school). And honorably, I am and I will be in the future ENRAGED, for those who adopt attitudes and behaviors that are not recognized within the scope of my political assessment. Also among other things, I will also be a traitor, to anything that does not coincide with my value and fighting positions.

Honest I will be only with those who consciously honour their value codes. My robust respect and consistency therefore will only be enjoyed by those who feel comradeship as the highest good. A concept that should be worn as a crown on our heads, because it is also the lobby of the post-revolutionary order.

P.S.: The reason I sent the last letter was very specific. I wanted to say a few words about the trial, but mainly intended to block some journalists who over did it on my attitude, in order for obvious reasons to promote the “rupture of the accused". A crack that existed anyway, I just thought that i should treat it as an internal matter (of those who sit in the same dock), protecting it from any kind of enemies, visible and invisible, who are flattered by such statements, and not to expose it before all for cannibalism. As it seems, however, I was the only person who respected this value rule.

P.S.2: In the text of my co-defendants I could see that with a very petty political practice they tried to turn against me also those who stand in solidarity, writing that "I legalize the court's decision to register the people". Obviously i consciously discredit those who deliberately swallow, without chewing, these words. Whatever I say is for those who enroll themselves in the direction of building a strong revolutionary movement with healthy terms that will not step over respect, but promote it, will not cover up its political mistakes, but will learn from them.

As long as these situations find support within the movement, so long will they destabilize it, disintegrating it from within.
