Solidarity attack in Bristol outskirts – The fire is spreading (UK)

“We have come to terms with the extent of the damage done to our individual lives, our planet, what could laughably be called the remains of some *community* (now a politicians’ poisoned term – we see nothing reflective of what community means to us in this society) by the ravaging of capitalism, the State, social hierarchies of race and gender and our own seeming inability to confront and systematically destroy these entities as they suffocate us. This realisation can too often lead to paralysis or chasing one’s own tails in a frenzy of self-righteous *activism* that leaves participants exhausted, the quality of their struggle cheapened, and our enemies unfazed. We have assessed the terrain in which we find ourselves and pledged a trajectory of wild rage despite the spell of tranquility that society attempts to cast, living passion and experimentation despite the inertia and obsession with dead objects this society fetishizes, and real affinity despite the empty shell of social networks and meaningless interaction we are sold as leisure or *community*. Many tools are ours in this lived resistance – but none of these find any context when not held up against a relentless and determined assault on the open prison that unfolds everywhere our enemies tread.”
“Recently, the international anarchist current suffered a blow as a squatted self-organised space, *Liebig-Strasse 14* in the city of Berlin in the occupied territory claimed by the German State, was evicted by the cops. 35 or more comrades were arrested in the building and 2,500 came to the streets in anger – in the spirit of the finest reflection of our disgust and solidarity being the strengthened continuation of our attack everywhere, the struggle against gentrification and the class and social war that surrounds it (as fought in Berlin) was continued as we visited the Dick Lovett BMW garage out by Cribbs Causeway on Tuesday night. Between 40 and 50 BMW vehicles awaiting sale at the rear of the car showroom had their paintwork ruined, scratched and paintstrippered – done in this way so as not to trigger the car alarms.
We have only one question – Where next?
This action dedicated to Lukas Winkler, Stephanie Träger, Sven Maurer – squatters who fought their eviction in Munich, now imprisoned. Also to all prisoners in struggle – either side of the walls.”

Attack in Bristol for Conspiracy of Cells of Fire (UK)

from 325.nostate.net

“In the early morning of 17 January, two telecommunications utilities vehicles, of British Telecom, were set on fire in Bristol.
This attack was made in solidarity with Conspiracy of Cells of Fire and all those who are fighting inside and outside the prison walls.
We denounce the trial against the accused and imprisoned of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire. We denounce all trials, refusing to recognise the authority of the State and its judicial apparatus.
We send comradely greetings to the imprisoned cell of Conspiracy of Cells of Fire and say that we recognise ourselves, our actions and our ideas in a common project of destruction.
We salute all rebellious and revolutionary prisoners and all people rising up against capitalism and the State.

night of sabotage in bristol U.K.

we are warming up...

early on January 10th, as anarchists with revolutionary intent we continued in the trajectory that our horror and disgust at the society we find ourselves engulfed by demands.
as a result - bailiff and debt collecting firm Revenue on Bonnville Road, windows all down one side of the building smashed (despite regular security patrol close by).
- O2 repeater tower secluded behind a nearby industrial estate, lock cut from the gate with boltcroppers then a tyre filled with rags wedged through the biggest bunch of cables(rags also tied around the cables) and doused with paraffin and ignited with a birthday candle wick to torch the whole thing.
- Brislington police station, paintstripper used to damage the bodywork of three squadcars and one mobile c.c.t.v unit and windows put out (inside their fenced vehicle compound).
- HSBC bank on the main Bath Road, front windows shot out.

as the country lurches further into the certainty of even more clearcut class attacks on the poor by the rich, we would predict a certain rise in the use of a variety of tools and tactics by the exploited and excluded in return in this social war that some still desperately try to bury their heads from as it rages before their eyes. for us, while we respect a diversity of tactics based on participants ability and on results not dogma, a meaningful struggle against the state, capitalism and the prison-based society it produces and represents must be defined by complete and permenant conflict with the ruling order rather than demands or dialogue. now is not the time and never has been for us to waste time and breath caught up in the politics of representitives or leftists/activists wishing us to wittle away our time in petty politics rather than seeking to expand our relationships of utter revolt with each other. we seek only to find those who wish to conspire with us for a fight that will take us beyond everything we know of this world, to realise a libertarian autonomous society through collective destruction of the present one.

these actions of sabotage are simple and achieve these aims directly. in many areas there are targets, it is simply impossible for them to be all defended at once by our enemies so we take our time and strike at will. the allseeing eye still has blindspots it would seem. when struggling against the network of technological repression, police - communications infastructure - bailiffs - banks all pose very real and attackable faces to the not so invisible machine.

the fight continues.

anarchist attack action in innercity bristol for a smashing new year

january the first. anarchists saw in the new year 2011 with attacks on both newfoundland road police station and the probation office on upper york street using easily found stones.

with our action, we breathe revolutionary solidarity for the next year and beyond to all those engaged in struggle against the state and capitalism in whatever forms across the planet. we especially think of those behind bars who became rebels and have risen up and burned Ford prison. we identify with them, as it would seem we both wish for jails to become ashes in this moment. each moment cannot fail to bring us closer to the conclusion we already knew - the only way out of this society that with its cctv cameras, cops, conformity, e-surveillance, snitches and repression of dissent begins to resemble the prison more closely. so we in turn continue our own project of desire for total liberation so attacking that which attacks us.

to the pigs and their apologists - we will strike again soon. happy new year.

love & rage across borders, until every wall falls.

anarchist greetings to the enemy's hostages of ours, known and unknown to us, including:
Giannis Dimitrakis, Gerasimos Tsakalos, Panagiotis Argyrou in greece
John Bowden in uk
Jock Palfreeman in bulgaria
Thomas Meyer Flak, Gabriel Pombo da Silva in germnay
Aleksey Bychin in russia
Marco Camenisch, Luca Bernasconi, Costantino Ragusa, Silvia Guerini in switzerland

Education Revolt: Solidarity Statement

category bristol U.K.
See Below
We, the individuals and groups listed below, offer our solidarity and support for the action(s) taken earlier this week and the continuing occupations in Bristol and across the country.

The raising of Tuition fees, the cutting of Housing Benefit, Legal Aid and many other Social Benefits will cause hurt to many across the social spectrum. Mainstream Politicians and Media are already attempting to segregate and split an as yet unformalised, genuine coalition of the aggrieved.

One way to counter this attempt at division is if we refuse to criticise or condemn differing tactics, even if we privately disagree with them, and offer support to those arrested, suspended from university, or their jobs due to action taken.

Whilst many of the undersigned have doubts about the role of “The State” in our lives, we don’t seek to monopolise or take over protests to use as our own platform. Rather, we commit to engaging in spaces of protest and dissent as a means to debate and decide our common future(s).

We also call on those trade union members who are unhappy with their leaderships’ inaction on the cuts to engage with and support these protests which are currently the most vocal and visible challenge to the ConDem coalition.

Prisoner support letter-writing night and hot prisoners

Prisoner support letter-writing night and hot prisoners

Bristol ABC prisoner support group returns this month to Kebele social centre for November’s public letters to prisoners night.
Wednesday 10 November, from 7 to 9pm at 14 Robertson Rd, Bristol BS5 6JY. Hot drinks available, bring snacks to share please.
Once again we will have lists of prisoners here and abroad who welcome support. We will provide paper, cards and envelopes. We ask you to provide the letter writing muscle, along with donations for stamps if you can. This is an informal event with lots of time for questions and discussion about what we do and why. To find out more in advance have a look at our blog and especially the article Why Prisoner Support
This month some of the prisoners we think need additional support include:
The recently sentenced animal rights prisoners known as the SHAC6, and not least Nicole Vosper who has deep roots in the south west (and may be out on parole soonish after 18 months on remand).
Jock Palfreeman in Bulgaria has another day in court for his appeal on 11 November. It probably wont be his last court day, and the judgement will take the judge 2 to 3 months to deliver, so keep pressure on the Bulgarian state - info here.
The elderly and sick anarchist Alfredo Bonanno, along with Christos Stratigopoulos, go to trial in Greece on 22 November. Meanwhile despite more Greek comrades are being arrested and harassed by the repressive Greek cops and state, struggles there continue. More info here.
Lynne Stewart in the USA is a radical human rights lawayer imprisoned for allegedly helping terrorists, whose sentence has recently been increased from 2 to 10 years. Lynne is a 71 year old cancer sufferer and needs support.
Lastly Thomas Meyer-Falk in Germany, having survived 11 years in isolation upto 2007, is demanding a parole hearing, which he should have got 3 years ago.
There are of course plenty more.

Tuesday, 28 September 2010 Bristol, England - Natwest bank smashed on Gloucester Road, Bristol in solidarity with those in prison in Chile and Switzerland

''attack on a bank on gloucester road in solidarity with those in prison in chile and switzerland.
in the early hours of the 28th of september we attacked the natwest bank on gloucester road, bristol with paint and bricks.

windows were smashed, paintbombs thrown and 'destroy all prisons' was sprayed up on the wall.

this action was taken in solidarity with the 35 mapuche prisoners, the 3 incacerated in switzerland and the 14 imprisoned anarchists in chile - the majority of which are on hunger strike.

natwest is owned by the royal bank of scotland, which is complicit in state repression in chile, the pillaging of the earth, and the financing of the prison machine.

we send solidarity, love and rage to all those continuing the struggle in whatever way possible.

Hunger strikes in Swiss prisons by anarchist prisoners Marco, Billy, Costa and S

Eco-anarchist prisoners Marco Camenisch, Luca Bernasconi, Costantino Ragusa and Silvia Guerini started an hunger strike the past 10th September.

Communique':

We - Billy, Costa, Silvia and Marco - eco-anarchist and revolutionary individuals hostages of the Swiss state have decided to start a hunger strike from 10th September 2010. Because of our situation and the delay in communicating with each other (which for 3 of us means we can't communicate with each other at all because we're under preventative arrest), the arrangements and organisation of this initiative are very difficult and most probably you will only be able to have more detailed news, confirmations, and individual declarations only later on during the month.

As revolutionary anarchist individuals this is what we want to affirm strongly:

Solidarity and international participation - from the inside and beyond each individual's political inclination - with all revolutionary initiatives and struggles, outside and inside, against repression, prison, isolation, torture...For the liberation of all those who are hostages of the revolutionary war against the system; for the liberation of every individual; for the destruction of every prison, fence and society that needs destructing. This includes our total support and solidarity with the recent liberation campaigns for long-term revolutionary prisoners.

This strike is a continuation of our struggles together with all those who have never wanted to passively endure this war and the brutal social, economic, political and environmental crisis of the system. It's a continuation of all those strong affinities and relationships as "green/anticivilisation" anarchist individuals that connect us since many years. Against every state, priest and master; against every prison and repression; against the exploitation of humankind, animals and the environment.

The coalition - among us and with other individuals - in a radical war against all old and new toxicity and destruction and the system that produces them and makes them necessary. We mean this present system of technoscientific production, industrial, capitalistic, monopolistic and imperialist consumerism practiced by corporations and their States. Despite the fact that, with their typical arrogance and deceit, the masters and their arselickers try to paint these things as humanitarian, necessary and sustainable practices - we're talking about scientists, the media, politicians, cops, priest and all those organisations paid by and/or allies in the masters' "democratic dialogue" who support, for example, biotech and GMO's, "alternative energies", and even nuclear energy! Despite the fact that this imperialist, warmongering and terrorist system of masters, institutions and accomplices defines as "vandals", "terrorists", "eco-terrorists", and so on, us and anyone who dissents, resists and struggles for a society of free, autonomous individuals, without slavery, oppression, exploitation and destruction!

Our radical critique and struggle against the roots of the present system - the destructive expression of a millenary anthropocentric civilisation based on technological and industrial dominion (production-consumption), patriarchal domestication, social control and classism, massification and carceration of our cities, exploitation, organised violence and war of man against man, man against woman, man against other species, against nature, and the rest of the universe.

Last, but certainly not least: This initiative is also a contribution in solidarity and greeting to all of you revolutionary individuals of every inclination that - as individuals or in groups - support us with your true and free revolutionary love, with your initiatives, with your resistance and revolutionary offensive in open dayligh or open nightlight, by any means necessary, against every expression of the Monster State and Capital.

Together we're strong, solidarity is our best weapon!

Updated! Bristol Indymedia are hosting a room at the event - details here.

the bookfair collective writes: The 2010 Bristol Anarchist Bookfair is on Saturday 11 September, from 10.30am to 6pm. At Hamilton House, 80 Stokes Croft, Bristol BS1 3QY (fully accessible via ramp & lifts)

At the bookfair we offer you: 48 tables of stalls over 2 floors, 28 separate meetings/workshops/films spread over 4 rooms (including a Bristol Indymedia room and a Radical History Zone), a kids space, and an all day vegan cafe. All are welcome - come along and find out more, just step inside the door!

This year’s Bristol Bookfair will take place in the midst of the most serious ongoing crisis of capitalism for 80 years, against a background of drastic austerity measures (cuts, unemployment, tax rises, wage freezes, inflation) and worsening environmental mayhem. The class war waged against us by the ruling class has come up with an old trick, the coalition governent, this time of the self-serving LibDems and our class enemies the Tory toffs. Their Big Society is nothing but a Big Con, as they seek to roll back a publicly accountable state (well a bit accountable!) and replace it with a privately run corporately controlled one. Behind their PR bullshit of respect, sustainability and freedom lurks the iron fist of authoritarian capitalism making our lives subservient to their profits, our choices dictated to us by them. They tell us we must all share the pain of this crisis, we hope this bookfair will play its part in ensuring that they do indeed share some of our pain.

The aim of the bookfair is to provide a wide range of anarchist and radical literature, ideas, history, debate, theory, meetings, workshops and films, and merchandise. The event will provide a serious taster of anarchist ideas & practices to those people new to such ideas and looking for an alternative to the way things are, but do not have to be. The bookfair also acts as a get together for existing anarchists & radicals - to debate, discuss, network, plot and plan, and of course socailise!

Bristol anarchist bookfair latest: stalls and meeting timetable

collectiveauthor email bristolanarchistbookfair at riseup dot net Report this post to the editors
it's gonna be rammed to the rafters!
Its all systems go down at the bookfair bunker. After a late flurry of stall applications left us having to cut some stallholders table requests (and then there were more that missed the deadline!); and having dealt with the tricky task of reducing 29 workshop proposals down to 15 (originally 12, but we found 3 more spaces), and letting the unsuccesful proposers know the result; the bookfair programme is now complete!

Cellphone Antenna Sabotaged with Fire, Bristol 21/5

[Bristol] Cells of Fire: Storm of Butterflies

FOR SELF-ORGANISATION & ANTI-CAPITALIST RESISTANCE
May 21, 2010, approx 2.30am.

A 'T-mobile' repeater was destroyed by fire. All effort was made not to endanger any life and the mast was chosen due to its distance from residential buildings and activity. The fence was cut with bolt-croppers and placed at the base of the antenna, wrapped around the electrical cables powering the mast, was a cut tyre filled with rags soaked in paraffin. Soaked rags were also tied to the cables and tucked into the tyre. Firelighters were used to ignite the lot. The antenna was situated near the central Temple Meads railway station close to a new 'urban development' area.

Destructive acts against the telecommunications infrastructure of capitalist economy are simple and reproducible, as are attacks against other facets of industrial society. The system relies on a network of cables, antennas and power units to enforce and sustain its exploitation. Far from being a faceless abstract enemy, the conduits of commodity production remain attackable at many points, vulnerable to our courage, rage and joy.

We dedicate this action to the arrested anarchists Constantino, Luca and Silvia in Switzerland, accused of conspiring against a nano-tech facility; to all the prisoners of the social struggle in Greece and to all those who have begun to fight, in a myriad of places, of different tongues, races and names.
