New 'Anarchist Graffiti in Newcastle' Website
After the riots Poitiers- Graffities on the walls, two people discharged
Due to police, about 20 graffities were found in Poitiers on Tuesday morning, threatening the police superintendent Papineau, banks and calling for solidarity.
These graffities were made on the town council walls, the police station and also the court.
Nobody has been arrested for that.
Desmartin, another police superintendent, who was ‚working‘ during the demonstration on October 10th in Poitiers, is now in Montpellier. Some graffities were found also there, threating him.
On February 23rd, two girls had a trial for DNA refusal, after the riots in October. About 30 people came to support them at the court.

Chile - in the face of wild nature's indomitable strength, some news from the earthquake

source: anonymous communique sent to Culmine, 28.02.10
27 febbraio, wild nature has again shown what it is capable of with an 8.8 Richter scale earthquake in the occupied territory of the State of Chile with 700 dead so far. It would be a mistake to make ethical considerations on a phenomenon of a nature that does not let itself be dominated, all the same there have been consequences for the exploited and for us, comrades active in the struggle in this part of the world.
The media morbidly celebrate and make the classic appeal to the military to line the streets in the face of looting and possible disorder, just as they judge and condemn the looters from their position as judges and moulders of public opinion.
Here are a few brief pieces of news from these territories:
- Occupied Spaces in Santiago del Chile:
At “La Crota” squat part of the facade of the outside wall has become detached and some of the roof fell onto the library, an internal wall fell onto the garden, damaging it. Some of the building occupied by the comrades is in "adobe".
- At the Sacco y Vanzetti occupied social centre part of the roof has fallen in. A number of walls have cracks and finally there is the classic disorder due to the library shelves having fallen down.
That is all the information we have at the moment, which does not methat other spaces have not been struck. More information below.
- Looting
In various places in the territory human needs have priority over the law and the bourgeois morals of respect for private property.
Attacks on supermarkets and large centres to recuperate and expropriate food, water and other items for survival have seen great participation of the exploited.
In Concepción (epicentre of the earthquake) the exploited loot supermarkets by night and by day, while journalists film such scenes, commenting them like the good guardians of capital they are. Police start to repress brutally with hydrants (macabre irony of authority, considering that the provision of water has been suppressed) and continually fire teargas at the exploited.
The past few hours have been enlivened by a couple of clashes, comments of the press and expropriated goods in the anxious hands of the exploited.
The authorities are already talking of a critical situation and some of the military have already occupied the streets to try to "bring the situation under control". The press are indignant about the looting of articles that are not for immediate needs and which, ridiculously, well-off journalists consider to be "luxury goods". The exploited try to get what they can from the windows.
The military have now been authorised to occupy the streets and a state of siege has been declared in the most badly struck regions, while in Santiago units of the security forces are guarding the supermarkets, but exactly in the Quilicura (Santiago) area looting of supermarkets and pharmacies culminated with the hysterical PDI (Policia de Investigaciones) shooting at looters.
Prisoners
We have no news about the physical situation of the imprisoned comrades in Santiago and the various prisons in which they find themselves kidnapped.
Axel Osorio, Marcelo Dotte, Esteban Huiniguir (C.A.S).
Marcelo Villarroel, Freddy Fuentevilla (M.A.S).
Pablo Carvajal, Matías Castro, Cristian Cancino (Santiago 1)
Sergio Vasquez, Alvaro Olivares (comrades of the 22 January collective, held in the damaged Ex Penitenciaria)
Flora Pavez (C.P.F)
Probably, the most worrying situations are those of Sergio, Alvaro and Flora because of the kind of construction of these extermination camps.
In the "El Manzano" prison, near Concepción, there was a riot after the earthquake, followed by a fire. In the end 70 prisoners managed to escape and part of the extermination centre was destroyed by the flames. This is a prison where some of the many Mapuche that have decided to struggle against the State are held. We sincerely hope that some have managed to escape.
For the time being there is no information from other prisons about the condition of the Mapuche political prisoners.
In the extermination camp of Chillan, following the collapse of a wall, a mass escape of prisoners took place. 90 have been recaptured and 4 were killed - better dead than free, the guards had decided - Finally 293 managed to escape and are still free.
The media are talking about escapes and attempted escapes in various prisons of the country, but this still has to be confirmed.
The old structures of Capital... will not fall down alone!

Curfew in Chile

The Chilean authorities have imposed a curfew in the Maule and Bio Bio regions, in the centre-south of the country, 37 hours after the earthquake that has caused over 708 deaths... The authorities lack of help for the victims has unleashed the anger of the people that have been struck, pushing them to loot supermarkets, chemists and shops to find what they need.
This has pushed the authorities to react, not to help the population, but to repress and safeguard the interests of the big commercial chains. For this reason a curfew has been declared from 21 to 6 in the morning to allow them to guarantee order and the protection of the large commercial centres and supermarkets with the justification of protecting one of the inventions of the neo-pinochestista system : the so-called " middle classes ".

Tuesday, 02 March 2010
Postponed until December 2, 2010 the trial following the 42 police invasion of the town hall Keratsini. Some news about what happened these days!
March 2, Piraeus courts had set the trial of the 42 anarchists comrades / companions to the police invasion of the town hall of Keratsini on 5/12/2009, which was captured after police invasion of RESALTO to convert into a resource and solidarity centre.
The trial, however, was unsurprisingly postponed. That is why there have been moves
around the case throughout this period.
A new hearing date was determined by Thursday, December 2, 2010. Athens Greece
Tuesday, December 22, 2009
More than a thousand march in Keratsini in solidarity to the 21 comrades arrested during the police raid on Resalto, the anarchist social centre of the proletarian suburb of Peiraeus.
More than a thousand protesters marched on Saturday afternoon in the industrial proletarian suburb of Peiraeus, Keratsini, against state terror and the police invasion of Resalto, the local anarchist social centre two weeks ago which resulted in the arrest of 21 people who are being accused of preparing explosives because of…some empty beer bottles and a few litres of heating
kerosene found in the premises. Initially the state accused the arrested of terrorism but the state interrogator subsequently dropped the charges. The invasion of the 4th of December had resulted in a sponteneous local attack against the police forces guarding the centre a few hours later and to the occupation of the Keratsini city hall, which was also invaded by the police with
42 people arrested despite the opposition of the mayor, the local council and the lawyer association of the town who have subsequently published official statements condemning the repression.
The march gathered at People’s square and after reading texts through the microphone stressing that “the arrested are the physical and political descendents of the guerrillas executed by the Nazis at the blockade of Kokkinia”, the protesters marched around the working class suburb enjoying overwhelming popular support: people chanting anti-police slogans from balconies and clapping in approval from the sidewalk, despite a strong police presence.
The march was part of a 3-day call against state terror by Resalto whose case has become a symbol of the socialist government’s ruthless strategy of counter-insurgency. A hefty monetary guarantee has been imposed on the 21 accused which is being covered by donations and free-donation gigs and parties throughout the country.
On Sunday locals of Exarcheia realised a demo at the square of the area protesting against the persecution of the Resalto comrades. To put the point across regarding the ridiculous claims of the persecuting authorities, the demonstrators made a public display of the exact number of empty beer bottles, hammers, and litres of heating kerosene considered “tools for constructing explosives” – surprisingly the antiterrorist bureau did not try to arrest them…
The march took place within a tense climate across Greece:
In Salonica, the social centre of the west territories, opened after the December Uprising, came under attack by parastate thugs who invaded the premises beating people inside and smashing everything on their way. Earlier the same day a police patrol car had come under attack by radicals in the centre of the city, while the night before a security systems shop had been
torched.
In Kavala, police detained a group of fly-posting radicals near the autonomous centre and the anarchist squat of the city. The unusual detention could be a sign of collective retribution for the large-scale attack last Thursday when the city centre’s banks were smashed and burned by radicals who have identified themselves in a communique as “anarchists of praxis”.
In Athens, on Friday afternoon the political office of a PASOK (Socialist Party) MP was attacked with an incendiary device, a further attack after the Thursday night's half hour barrage that destroyed half a dozen PASOK offices across the city. Also the PASOK offices of Agioi Anargiroi outside Athens were smashed on Saturday evening.
On a less angry side of things radical, the union of Wind workers has published a communique condemning the police invasion of university grounds during last week’s riots, and the efforts of rectorial authorities and the state to render the asylum a symbolic institution.

* Responsibility announcement for the looting of Millenium Bank in Thessaloniki:
THIS WORLD SPREADS MISERY, HANDCUFFS AND DEATH.
THAT'S WHY WE WANT THE DISTRUCTION OF THIS WORLD WITH THE MOST DYNAMIC METHODS.
A daily life that is controlled by disgusting politicians and scientists and is analyzed under economical terms has nothing but nothing to offer to society. Society? We don't mean the millions of hypnotized, users of pills, besotted in front of the TV, the payed slaves or comformists, the neutral minds about everything that take care only for themselves, those who take something positive from the situation today, anyway those who carry on the ethics of this world. We understand a different part as a society. A different part with another view on reality. A part of the society that at this times has in their mind the idea of undermining this world; to make a revolution like none of the alleged earlier ones. Individually and collectively to bring social liberation in reality. Not with temporary autonomous "liberated" homes inside and around the cities and utopian imaginaries in today's time but with aspirations for them to take action now to a very flexible and real-destructive urban guerrilla. Please stay away from the movements of passivity and reformism. The struggle against the state and capital shall become one, single and shocking.
Let's draw even a little bit more of hatred for the cop-pigs who killed with 9 bullets the 25 years old Nicolas Toddi beacuse of their utter stupidity to misunderstand him for a different person. When you listen 'security', you gotta know that someone is smelling for human flesh. But also let's also draw hatred for the other guys, the 'protectors of citizens' who attacked the demonstration in Vyronas district. These so called 'protectors' is nothing more than a terrorist gang with white helmets, batons and tear gas who serve as faithful dogs the dogma of counter-revolution. Freedom for the arrested persons.
The State is vindictive? You will see how vindictive we can also become. You still exterminate A. Bonanno in the jail? You enforce us to keep more fire in our hands.
So the midnight hours on Saturday and Sunday (27-28/2) we engaged ourselves in acts of arson in Thessaloniki against Millenium Bank and a townhall's vehicle.

Firebomb attacks
Police, bank, PASOK MP targeted in city bomb blasts
A group of about 15 suspected anarchists attacked a group of police officers patroling a street corner near the central district of Exarchia early yesterday, pelting them with stones and Molotov cocktails but causing no injuries or damage. The assailants eluded arrest. At around the same time in Thessaloniki, a homemade explosive device made of gas canisters detonated outside a branch of Millennium Bank, damaging the facade of the building but hurting no one. Late on Friday, a similar device planted outside the office of ruling PASOK deputy Pemi Zouni, on the fifth floor of an apartment block near central Syntagma Square, caused no injuries and little damage.

Suggests that behind these riots are people who struggle against the detention centers, prisons ... Some newspapers rely on
telephone conversations between prisoners and comrades back in June 2009, saying it encouraged them to rebel.
The police logic, there are leaders, which indeed exhibit and publish photos, and 2 out of 3 are in prison.

Demonstration in Vyronas district of Athens.Cops kill! (and they hate you telling them so)

The poster below reads the names of many of those who fell dead from the bullets of greek police in the country’s “democratic” years. Members of the leftist coalition SYRIZA in the Athens neighbourhood of Vironas were detained for hours by police, for putting up the poster around their neighbourhood.
Aleksandre, Michali, Tony, Stamatina, Christofore, Maria, Katerina, Iakove, Marko, Irakli, Konstantina, Mohammad – and so, so many others… We won’t forget, we won’t forgive.
- The demonstration took place after some days of the murder of Nikolas Todi, father of a 6 months old child, during a bank robbery. The innocent victim did not have any participation in the robbery and the pig who killed him with 9 bullets is still free and member of the greek police. In the demonstration participated around 600 people heavily surrounded by any kind of pig forces who used as an excuse the smashing of local offices of PASOK ("socialistic" party which is on government now) and attacked the protestors brutally with tear gas and beating them up. One person heavily injured on his head in a pool of blood, who was taken in the pig station with more persons. Residents of the area also on their balconies shouting against the pigs. The total number of arrests rised up to 11. The pigs publish on their announcement that they were attacked by the protestors, also with molotov coctails, event that never happened. They also publish about 11 injured pigs, but they do not state about the attack from the pigs, not about the heavily injured protestors and not about the cops who were driving among citizens rising up the danger for accidents. An assembly of political organizations is planed for today evening, so more actions can take place after this event.

RBS attacked with rocks & fire over Tar Sands project
In the early hours of Tuesday 23rd February 2010, anarchists attacked the Royal Bank of Scotland HQ in the heart of developing Bristol, UK.
Despite road traffic and proximity of security, the mob succeeded in breaking windows, smashing paint-bombs against upper floors and setting fire to tyres in the middle of the road.
A litany of abuses by RBS or any other bank could continue for pages, but it is enough to state that every bank is part of the financial prison which incarcerates and impoverishes all of us.
These actions will escalate and multiply.
We dedicate this action to all indigenous fighters and their allies struggling against the Tar Sands project in Kanada which RBS is an investor in, and also all those who fight against the 2010 Winter-Olympics.
This action is also in solidarity with Alfredo M. Bonanno, Christos Stratigopoulos, Polykarpos Georgiades, Vaggelis Chrisohoides, Giannis Dimitrakis, Gabriel Pombo da Silva, the entire London G20 defendants/prisoners and all other prisoners in struggle.
For international struggle against capitalism and the state.
Neo-Nazi skinheads jailed in Russia for racist killings
A court in Moscow has sentenced nine members of a neo-Nazi skinhead gang to prison terms of up to 23 years.
The gang members, most in their late teens, were found guilty of a string of brutal and very public murders.
The skinheads targeted people of Central Asian origin and posted videos of their attacks on the Internet.
Russia has seen a surge of racially-motivated attacks in recent years. In 2009 alone, neo-Nazis are believed to have killed more than 70 people.
‘Wrong accent’
The nine neo-Nazis called themselves “The White Wolves”.
They sought out Central Asian migrants, and attacked them in Moscow’s back streets.
They clubbed some of their victims to death with wooden planks and killed others by repeatedly stabbing them with knives and screwdrivers.
In one case, a glazier from Kyrgyzstan was stabbed 73 times, as the gang members shouted “Russia for the Russians!” and filmed the murder on their mobile phones.
The jury heard the gang was responsible for at least 11 killings, possibly even more.
And so – after five months of deliberations – came the prison terms: Twenty-three years for the gang leader and up to nine years for the others – the maximum prison term allowed in Russia for underage criminals.
Human rights activists have welcomed the sentencing.
They admit that the police are now cracking down on skinhead gangs.
But even so, last year alone, dozens were killed, and hundreds injured simply for not looking Slavic, and for speaking with a foreign accent.

"Granddad bandit" suspected in over a dozen bank robberies -- USA
A man dubbed the "Granddad Bandit," suspected in more than a dozen robberies, struck again this week, the FBI said Friday.
The latest incident was Wednesday in Huntsville, Alabama, the FBI said in a release. It offered no further details.
Authorities suspect the Granddad Bandit in 18 other robberies in a dozen states. The FBI said last year that he is a white male, believed to be 50 to 60 years old. He is about 6 feet tall and weighs between 210 and 230 pounds.
On Friday, the FBI said that he may be driving a black four-door Ford F150 or F250 pickup with an Alabama license plate.
"Typically, the man enters the victim bank, approaches the teller counter and hands the teller a note demanding money. During some of the robberies, he has threatened to have a weapon," the bureau said.
Authorities are using electronic billboards in 10 states to try to catch the bandit. The FBI said the billboards -- there are about 75 of them -- will be updated to include a photograph of the vehicle.

Thursday, February 25, 2010 Tension between mother and Grigoropoulos Al.Kougia today in the trial and strange speech of the President

Posted by iteanet
On the tension and dialogue that read below except the trivial incident by Kuge, we found a much bigger problem.
The problem is that the president shows strange available to the mother of the murdered, so instead of throwing tons and finish with it, quick to defend Kuge katakrinontas the same for other unrelated events ....! letters to the composition of the Court and its efforts to become the trial in Athens.
The reference to these events as classes against the mother of the victim and even without a rise causing concern.
Read on:
Intensity occurred in Gross Jury Amfissa, the trial for the murder Grigoropoulos when the mother of 15 year-old child, Gina Tsalikian, called the attorney of main accused Ep.Korkonea, Alexis Kougias, "ethical assassin" of the child. Mr. Kougias left the courtroom.
Just ahead of tabling his mother, Mr. Kougias told the court that he intends to ask questions to Mr Tsalikian "as a minimum tribute to the memory of Alexander.
Mrs Tsalikian submitted to the personality of the child, which-as stated-was not aggressive, but also learned that what happened on the evening of December 6, 2008 at the intersection of Tzavella and Messolongi in Exarchia, when Alexander Grigoropoulos fell dead, struck in the chest by a bullet of the Guard.
The witness referred to what has been said to her son after his death, on the part of defendants special guards.
- Tz.Tsalikian: "Never sykofantithike someone so much as my child after the murder of these killers.
- Chairman (Papavasiliou Angelis): "Please come up to the decision, the defendants do not have the status of the killer.
- Tz.Tsalikian: "And I will call moral murderer of my child Mr. Kuge.
At this point, the counsel of Epaminondas Korkonea making no comment, left the room.
- Chairman: "out of order, Ms. Tsalikian ask you to recall.
- Tz.Tsalikian: Has served (pp Mr. Kougias) a host of slander against my child. "
- Chairman: "And some press, allegedly signed authorization from you, were not content to honorary membership of the court. Treat challenging the court, before giving eloquent. I have to consider why moral sycophant? Treat us as you consider the outset.
- Tz.Tsalikian: "I want a law court.
- Chairman: 'We respect you indefinitely. There is full moral support and respect for what you did. God be with watchmen, not live anything like that. "
- Tz.Tsalikian: "My child is dead ...».
- Chairman: "I am not saying not to defend the memory of your child, not personified but ...».
- Tz.Tsalikian: "The court you are alive, my child is dead ...».
- Chairman: "That what? Have to slander?.
- Tz.Tsalikian: "I must protect myself for my child."
The prosecutor office, Charalambos Lakafosis, the witness said that respect for the court to the loss of her child is granted, but, as stated in the sympathy-her face "will give way to my obligation to defend my position in this court . The court is in fact alive and be sure that the piece would be an expression of an impartial justice even parelthontikes reports and walks on the 4th floor of the Hall of Alexandras Avenue (pp Areopagus). Expressions of type 'moral killer], I ask you, do not leave your mouth.
Early in the morning presented 18 year old witnessed the incident in Exarchia, which, inter alia, stated that hearing officers to lead by word and gesture of collected in street children.
As presented the witness, Alexander and his friend were sitting in a hangar on the road Tzavella and nobody threw anything against the police. He said that at some point, when the two special guards were pedestrians in Tzavella, someone behind him threw a plastic bottle with water.
Finally, testified that he heard two shots, but to see who shot. He, indeed, that he realized it was gunfire when he saw fallen under Alexander.
Harsh sentences for Gaza protesters
Saturday, 20 February 2010

A further two defendants, both described as being of ‘exemplary character’ were yesterday sentenced to two years imprisonment. Another, for whom this was also a first offence, was sent down for 12 months. Four who had been under 18 at the time of the offence received detention orders ranging from 8 to 12 months. One was given a suspended sentence on grounds of mental illness, and two others were adjourned for pre-sentence reports.
The court was told how the defendants were fighting with police, although most of the allegations were of throwing or hitting out with flimsy placard sticks at riot police in full protective gear. A few of the defendants were also accused of ‘assisting’ others with picking up and throwing crowd control barriers that had been used by police to kettle protesters.. But there were no reports of any injuries sustained by anyone as a result of their actions. One man, a university student, got twelve months for throwing a single missile. His family sobbed in the gallery.
The court was not told about – nor seemed at all interested in - the context in which this violence happened. The court was not told about the police violence that was meted out on Gaza protesters during the numerous protests that took place in December and January last winter. How protesters were forced into pens, despite the crush that this caused. That protesters slow to move were pushed, shoved and sworn at, and those who objected, or who tried to move back barriers were hit with shields and batons.
Neither was the court interested in the political situation that was unfolding at the time. One of the defendants had recently visited part of his family in Gaza, a family including young children who were inevitably suffering under the brutal and unlawful military offensive that Israel had launched. It mattered not at all. He was sentenced to two years.
The Judge made it clear that the aim of these sentences was to act as a ‘deterrent to others’. It was not the behaviour of the individual that was important, he said, but the collective behaviour of the crowd.
These sentences cannot be seen as anything other than political, given the sustained effort and committment the state has put in to bringing so many people before the courts. The ‘deterrent’ effect intended is surely that of making Muslim communities fearful of taking to the streets again.
