FROM THE GREEK STREETS 28/5
Two incendiary racist attacks took place within 48 hours in Greece:
- In Chania, Crete a group of fascists on motorbikes threw molotovs to a house where migrants reside, before disappearing. The fire caused was put off by the tenants, assisted by their neighbours.
- On Thursday, at dawn, another group of people threw molotovs in a house in the town of Loutraki in the prefecture of Korinthia – at that time, a family of migrants with their children were sleeping inside. Immediately afterward the group shot twice toward one of the houses’ balcony doors.
According to the police both attacks were caused by “far-right” groups.
