ALF/ELF Solidarity with Conspiracy Cells of Fire in Greece

January from directaction.info:

15th: ELF SET FIRE TO BULLDOZER, VEHICLES
22nd: BANK BOMBED - COMMUNIQUE TO FOLLOW
25th: ALF SOLIDARITY WITH GREEK PRISONERS

anonymous communique (translation):

"... We are not in solidarity with the suffering of people, we are in solidarity with the energy and strength of those who do not tolerate their suffering ...
words of the Conspiracy Cells of Fire

January 12:
Militants from the Frente de Liberación de la Tierra wanted to show our full support for the prisoners of the Conspiracy Cells of Fire who will be prosecuted on the 17th of this month. So, armed with gasoline, we took to the streets to stoke the flames of insurrection. We claim responsibility for the burning of:
A white van parked outside a luxury home
A cargo trailer
And a bulldozer inside a construction site
All these targets were in the town of Coacalco in Mexico State.
We are against civilization and its whole system of domination. The burning of cars is a clear challenge to the authorities who look after the interests of those who destroy ecosystems. Cars are now and will always be an important target, since the automobile industry is one of the biggest polluters, is making the land desolate and destroying the little remaining wildlife. More and more each day, the cities are filled with these machines; society (as always) is complicit with the planetary destruction, making the automobile industry more profitable due to the massive demand for them on every street; their unhappiness multiplying, disguised behind a smile on their face and their hands on the wheel. Life in society is false like everything in civilization. The newest cell phone? The latest car model? A luxurious beachfront house? The newest technology? All are lies, it is all an illusion fueled by the false hope of becoming 'someone' in life, a life governed by those who always tell you what to do and what not to do.
Because of all this, we say, war on society, war against the established order, war on modern civilization!
With this communique, in addition to this small critique of the systemized society, we also want to make public our participation in the International Network of Action and Solidarity. It will be based on the extensive effort of many individuals, cells and/or groups. We know that with time a network made up of people unknown to each other but with a common purpose will be one of the primary threats to the capital-state. We are already it, now that we are each acting on our own, imagining ourselves striking together, but in different parts of the world.
A fraternal greeting to the CCF of Greece, to the FAI in Italy, to the individual activists in Chile, to the ELF of Russia, to the autonomous individuals burning cars in Argentina and Germany, to the other comrades of Mexico and to any another person or persons who wish to participate in joint efforts of direct confrontation against all authority for years to come!

Freedom for comrades imprisoned in Mexico, Greece, Switzerland, Chile and throughout the world!
Animal and Earth Liberation!
Atonement through social war!
Fire to civilization!

anonymous communique (click here to view photos from the rescue):
"In a warm august night five gorgeous beagle dogs have been saved from
vivisection, took in an embrace and brought to a new life.
These dogs were born in Green Hill breeding farm of Montichiari (BS) and
after passing years in the labs of Recordati pharmaceuticals of Milano,
are now finally far from the imprisonment and tortures of vivisectors.
To free them from the cold world of research it was not necessary to get
into the alarmed kennels of the labs, but we just had to make them
disappear from "Casina Croce" dog pension in Cornaredo (Milano), where we
knew we could find them during the summer closure of the lab. A wall to
jump, some cages to open, and in a few minutes five new friends have been
saved.
Now they are no more victims of experiments, they are not numbers anymore,
but individuals with a personality, able to give and receive love and live
far away from torturers. The only memory of that terrible past is the
tattoo in the hear, with the letters GH easy to read.
Now that they are safe in their new houses we can spread the video and
pictures, but also news on this action that has been kept secret both by
the media and Recordati themselves.
Animals like these ones are created to serve the purposes of
pharmaceutical corporations and of a socalled "research" that sees in
every living being (human or not-human that be) a way to make money.
Millions of animals are used annually to test chemicals, cosmetics,
pesticides, erbicides, drugs, weapons and so on. They are subjected to
surgical operations, fractures, forced to inhale or swallow substances and
suffer violations of their bodies and their minds, 'till death and then
autopsy and then burning chambers.
With the excuse of social and scientific progress, abusers in suit and tie
or in white coats, are allowed all these atrocities. A growing number of
people is opposing vivisection and animal abuse. Our voices and protests
are unfortunately too often not heard.
In a world where vivisection is legal and financed by governments, direct
action is a necessary answer to immediately save lives and give voice to
the pain that millions animals are enduring.

"We joined the international week for animal liberation, last night visiting a large meat packing plant in the area, which we graffitied with phrases relating to animal exploitation and sprayed across a large part of the facade; besides that we also threw 4 paint bombs at the walls. In the same evening we visited 2 poultry farms which exploit and kill chickens for human consumption. We painted them and damaged their facade.
This is just beginning! Until all the cages are destroyed!

Greece
anonymous communique (photo: newsit.gr):
"26.08.2010 - Heliodendro, Kastoria (Greece)
One of the biggest greek mink farms has been hit in our first night of action. All the cages imprisoning animals in 37 sheds of the farm were opened and machinery sabotaged. To let the animals out part of the fence was cut and both gates opened smashing the locks (using the farmer's tools). Two hours and half of work and we could run away along with thousands of minks (according to media 50.000 were released).
27.08.2010 - Kaloneri, Siatista (Greece)
Another mink farm was our target for a second night of action, this time near the town of Kaloneri, on a road where 10 farms can be easily seen. 8 sheds full of animals had their cages opened in just ten minutes. Before leaving we opened a gate to let the animals run towards freedom (according to media 2.000 were released).
In both cases we had checked carefully the farms to know how to organize a faster and more secure action.
With these actions we decided to hit the fur industry and especially the disgusting 'fur towns' of Siatista and Kastoria, plagued with hundreds of fur stores. Liberating animals from cages is a way to put our ideas into practice. We oppose the oppression, exploitation and imprisonment that this civilization has created for any living being, regardless of species, race, gender or sexual preferences.
In these desperate days we still strive for freedom. Eat vegan on the barricades!
A.L.F."
Greek media has reported that as many as 50,000 mink were released from cages. In an article in the Makedonia newspaper, the president of a Greek fur breeders association said that it was a "black day" for the industry. The owner of one of the targeted farms estimated his losses at 1 million Euros and said that his farm had been ruined.

release of 50.000 minks in Kastoria North of Greece

29august

Kastoria is a city North west of greece . The city of Kastoria has a history and it was famous  and rich cause of the furs …
Last night activists release  50.000 minks from a “farm”
However lots of people  criticize that action saying that minks can’t live free : they can’t eat , they cant drink water and soon they all going to die cause they just can’t survive by they own .
My opinion is : even if only one make it , it is a nice action plus it really send a message to any new business man who  want to start that kind of business...
  1. The mink farm owner was on television looking terribly worried, trying with trembling voice and stammering to describe the financial loss he suffered. A damage coming up to one million euroes. What is moral I thought is measured with money…- profit. That he is by force enslaving living beings abusing them and killing them in the most attrocious way in order to take their skin and make money, this did not matter to him. It is accepted by society, the law is on his side, and therefore this attrocious act is moral. Whereas the animal lovers who broke into his establishment with the inention of freeing the enslaved creatures are by the established standards, criminals. How long will profit be the criterion of morality? How long will laws support profit makers and disregard human and animal life especially, when it comes to making money? I look forward to a society, which would condemn such acts and send to prison a person like the mink farm owner for abusing , torturing animals and disrespecting their rights to life and freedom.

Translation of anonymous communique (photos: Polizeiinspektion Harburg; click here to view TV news report about the action):

"On the night of July 29-30, 2010 a poultry factory farm under construction in Sprötze (Lower Saxony) was targeted in an arson attack. The entire building collapsed. Property damage is estimated at €500,000. The factory farm was going to be one of over 400 suppliers for Europe's largest chicken slaughterhouse, planned for Wietze. There were many reasons for this action:
The environment is substantially harmed by the building of new factory farms. Ammonia, contained in the manure of animals, contaminates the soil. This causes acid rain, which leads to the death of forests.
Water is polluted and permanently damaged.
Enormous amounts of food and water are wasted in raising non-human animals. To produce 1kg of chicken meat, on average 10kg of grain and/or genetically modified soy and more than 1,500 liters of water is required. Rainforests are cleared for the cultivation of soy. CO2 is emitted speeding up climate change. Numerous animal and plant species are exterminated as well. Even more CO2 is produced by the trucks needed to transport animal feed and the non-human animals.
Non-human animals are viewed and treated merely as a resource. For example, in zoos and circuses, as pets, for fur, leather, meat, eggs and dairy, animal testing, etc. All their needs, feelings and desires are denied them. They do not have the freedom to be in charge of their own lives.
This operation was carried out in order to directly save lives, as all previous discussions and arguments had failed.
We are aware of the psychological pressure and the financial loss that will burden the property owners. However, this is not in proportion to what chickens would have to suffer there. All attempts to rebuild the factory farm, to make profit at the expense of individuals, will be stopped! As long as non-human animals are subjected to the domination of humans, all animal exploitation enterprises will be the target of similar actions. This action shows how animal abuse can be confronted directly.
We would like to take this opportunity to point out that we reject comparisons of the situation of non-human animals today and the victims of Nazism. Causes and effects of different forms of domination are complex and differ on many points. These should not be rated against each other but all confronted and fought against. The fight against oppression is a part of the fight against speciesism, capitalism, racism, sexism, anti-Semitism, etc.
We encourage everyone to fight, in their own way, for the liberation of all individuals from all forms of tyranny.
For the freedom of all animals!"

Accused A.L.F. “Lone Wolf” Denied Bail

Walter Bond pleads “not guilty”, judge orders him held without bail until trial
In a court appearance today in Colorado, Walter Edmund Bond, the accused A.L.F. “Lone Wolf”, pleaded “not guilty” to charges he burned down a Sheepskin Factory store in April. The fire did $500,000 in damages to the uninsured building and its contents.
The judge also ordered Bond held without bail until trial.
Bond is also a suspect in two other Animal Liberation Front arsons: the Tandy Leather Factory arson in Salt Lake City ($20,000 damages), and foie gras restaurant Tiburon in Sandy, Utah ($10,000 damages).
The average federal case takes 14 months to run its course. It is expected Bond will be held for the duration of his case. Please send letters of support to Walter Bond in jail:

Fire & Explosions Rock Former Mink Farm

Fire and explosions tear through the twice-raided Ylipelto Mink Farm in Oregon
After two successful raids, activists may have once again visited the Ylipelto Mink Farm in Oregon - this time to burn it down.
In the early hours of July 27th, a boat, car, two forklifts, front-end loader, and a barn were all damaged by fire. investigators have not yet ruled it arson, but have noted the farm has been targeted by the Animal Liberation Front in the past.

Owner Henry Pelto stated he awoke at 3 am to the sound of explosions, and found several pieces of equipment on fire.
The owner revealed new information after the fire: after being targeted twice by activists, the Ylipelto farm shut down in December 2009. While the there may be numerous contributing factors in the closure, it may be largely or wholly credited to the A.L.F.
This marks the second Oregon fur farm to apparently shut down after an A.L.F. raid. The S&N Fur Farm in Scio, Oregon was found to be empty in a summer 2009 investigation as part of the Fur Farm Intelligence Project (although there is conflicting evidence indicating the farm may still be open, or reopening in the near future). That farm was raided by the A.L.F. in September, 2008.
News of the Ylipelto farm’s closure sheds doubt on police claims the fire may be the work of activists. Because a closed farm is an unlikely A.L.F. target, an insurance fraud motive should be suspected by investigators. Whoever is behind the fire, it would appear unlikely activists would target a closed mink farm, unless there was strong reason to believe the farm would reopen again in the future.
