One more arrest for the ‘Conspiracy of Cells of Fire’ case  On January 26th Michalis Nikolopoulos was arrested in Kifissia (northern Athens), accused in the case of Conspiracy of Cells of Fire. On January 28th he was led at the Evelpidon Courts where a solidarity gathering also held. He appeared before the prosecutor (Loukareos court) for the execution of an arrest warrant that had pending for nearly a year and a half, since he was a fugitive. The comrade refused to testify, saying that he does not recognize the procedure and he was imprisoned. In 3/2, he has also claimed political responsibility for his participation in the revolutionary organization ‘Conspiracy of Cells of Fire’ (his brief statement in english)).

STATEMENT RESPONSIBILITY CLAIM FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE REVOLUTIONARY ORGANIZATION CONSPIRACY CELLS OF FIRE

On Wednesday 26/1/2011, and while I was on Iliou street in Nea Kifissia in Athens, I was chased and arrested from the uniformed pigs of the D.I.A.S. Squad (squad of cops on motorbikes)

I declare clearly and with PRIDE that I am member of the Revolutionary Organization Conspiracy Cells of Fire, something that certainly honours me and unrepentant I continue with the head held high. After my arrest and as a hostage of the Revolutionary war and a political prisoner, I move from the illegal sector to the cell of imprisoned members of the R.O. Conspiracy Cells of Fire. My political ideas, values, perceptions and thoughts were expressed, are expressed and they will be expressed by the speech that is produced by the R.O. Conspiracy Cells of Fire. I am an anarchist and my perceptions are in the tendency of nihilism and anti-socialism, since on a general degree the whole of the current authority was created, developed and is supported on the behaviours of authority lust and passivity produced in the majority by the present society and its structures.

Continuing, something that of course is obvious, even now that I am behind bars I will continue the Struggle and I will support our organization. Also, other organizations of domestic urban guerrilla warfare will have my unconditional support, but also of the international revolutionary front- Informal Anarchist Federation. I simultaneously send my Support, my Faith and my Friendship to the brothers from the illegal sector of the R.O. Conspiracy Cells of Fire, and I have one thing to say to them, “Brothers strong to the STRUGGLE and to the BATTLES that rage… EVERYTHING CONTINUES!

I do not feel loss for my arrest…

I do not feel loss for the clandestinity …

I do not feel loss that I am imprisoned…

I do not feel loss for the Struggle that we conduct…

Defendants and lawyers absent in the "Conspiracy of Cells of Fire trial in Korydallos prison/court.'' This has never even happened in the military tribunals.''

The trial for the  revolutionary organisation "Conspiracy of Cells of Fire" will continue with the seats of the defendants empty and without defence lawyers. 

The court considered improper the exercise of the right of the 

defendants to have counsel of their choice, and their delaying 

attitude,

 "which aims to fail or cancel proceedings in the case, by completing 18 months' detention. "

For this reason they decided to continue the trial without the defendants present and without defence lawyers.

In 3 February the trial was held without the defendants’ presence nor their lawyers in defense.
The four of the defendants, Argirou, Hadjimihelakis, Masouras and Karagiannidis, announced that on Thursday, 3 February 2011, they proceed from abstention from mess to hunger strike, to achieve their claims—the identities of the people who wish to be present in the courtroom not to be recorded nor retained, in order for the defendants to return in court represented by the lawyers of their original choice.

The two comrades were accused of armed robbery at a car auction premises for confiscated vehicles on January 31.

 This morning 80 to 100 comrades gathered outside the court of Thessaloniki to show their solidarity. Some of the comrades managed to get into the courtroom. 

One of the two accused comrades was released with only one restrictive condition: he is banned from leaving the country, while the second comrade was remanded in custody in Diavata prison.

After the recent blunder of the antiterrorist with the 27yearold comrade Fee Mayer someone would expect, even superficially, from the “jackals” of the antiterrorist and their parrots, to crosscheck and confirm better their ingenious information, before they decide again to expose somebody without evidence.

On the contrary, it has not even been a month from the big fiasco and their next manufacture of a guilty person is once again a fact. We are referring to the of of Kleomenis Savvanidis, who suddenly found himself accused for participating in a robbery, with his photograph “playing” everywhere and the media are having field trip one more time.

There are irrefutable evidence and solid testimonies that Kleomenis the day of the robbery was in his working place, in the self-organized canteen in the University from 10:00am till 14:00pm, when he left in order to welcome his two friends from the airport and take them to his house, where the geniuses of the police were waiting for him.

The guards, the cleaners, the professors and many of students of University confirm the all the above statements, powerful evidence and proof contrary to the humiliating statements of the police, which are based on two vague testimonies about “bodytypes” while the same witnesses have testified that the perpetrators were 1,65cm -1,70 tall while Kleomenis is 1,84cm tall. This is not possible....!

For one more time they will ridiculed with the new blunder that they have created but for one more time they will have destroyed and maligned another human life through the misinformation, the explosion and the without reason detainment.

The reality is that we are anarchists and we must be exterminated by any means and at any cost. Liberal ideas do not have any place in the “democratic” junta and the internal enemy should be neutralized in order to shield the rotten system from the uproars that are to come.

We will not do them the favor! The trials will become the states sentences. Their stories stink from miles away and the game that they set up becomes perceptible from any thinking person.

Yesterday evening 2 of February  a Solidarity Gathering was held outside Diavata prison 

About 70 anarchists gathered outside Diavata prison in Thessaloniki in solidarity with our comrade Ivan G. who is one of the 3 imprisoned comrades, accused in the Nadir case.

 There was passion and intensity while slogans were shouted and at the same time there was a microphonic intervention. 

Then they stopped at the police headquarters where they shouted slogans for the two comrades of armed robbery at a  premises for confiscated vehicles on January 31.

Letterbomb in Athens sent to the Ministry of Justice

A letter bomb was sent to the Ministry of Justice in Athens today. It was sent to minister Kastanidis. Employees of the ministry found it suspicious and called the cops and bomb squad. They took the envelope outside and did a controlled detonation. It was a large file with aluminum foil and light explosives inside.

The envelope had as sender name “Independent initiative of practicing lawyers”.

Embassies and ministries have been alerted to check all the mail, since they assume that not only one was sent.

Three cases, eight comrades in jail

On 13/10/2010 comrade Giannis Skouloudis is arrested red handed just as he had torched a vehicle of the Greek Electricity Company. Immediately 4 arrest warrants are issued for close friends and comrades of his, while he is imprisoned in Avlona prisons, accused of participating in a criminal organization.

On 4/12/2010 Anarchist squat Nadir is raided in the frames of the methodical repression before the 6^th of December and 9 people are arrested inside Nadir and 3 people in the centre of Thessaloniki. They are charged with occupying a building, possession of weapons (some flags that are used at protests etc.), running an illegal radio station as well as forming a criminal organization. Three comrades are still imprisoned, two in Avlona prisons and one in Diavata prisons.

On 13/1/2011 comrades Fessas, Tsilianidis, Tzifkas and Dimtsiadis who were wanted since 13/10/2010 for Skouloudis case are arrested in Athens and accused of consisting and participating in a criminal organization. The three are imprisoned in the 1st wing of Koridallos prisons and Tzifkas in Avlona prisons.

The system attempts the isolation of dozens of our comrades who are right now confined in the modern hellholes. The continuation of the struggle as well as the strengthening of consciences is a battle that has not been lost. Inside and outside of the walls the looks of all those who do not bow the head, who deny to subject will continue to meet with every way.
