release of 50.000 minks in Kastoria North of Greece

Kastoria is a city North west of greece . The city of Kastoria has a history and it was famous  and rich cause of the furs …
Last night activists release  50.000 minks from a “farm”
However lots of people  criticize that action saying that minks can’t live free : they can’t eat , they cant drink water and soon they all going to die cause they just can’t survive by they own .
My opinion is : even if only one make it , it is a nice action plus it really send a message to any new business man who  want to start that kind of business...
  1. The mink farm owner was on television looking terribly worried, trying with trembling voice and stammering to describe the financial loss he suffered. A damage coming up to one million euroes. What is moral I thought is measured with money…- profit. That he is by force enslaving living beings abusing them and killing them in the most attrocious way in order to take their skin and make money, this did not matter to him. It is accepted by society, the law is on his side, and therefore this attrocious act is moral. Whereas the animal lovers who broke into his establishment with the inention of freeing the enslaved creatures are by the established standards, criminals. How long will profit be the criterion of morality? How long will laws support profit makers and disregard human and animal life especially, when it comes to making money? I look forward to a society, which would condemn such acts and send to prison a person like the mink farm owner for abusing , torturing animals and disrespecting their rights to life and freedom.

where are these 50.000 minks now? in a mink farm 3.000 minks eat 2 ton meat per day. this means 50.000 minks eat about 30-35 ton meat per day. and this means they will eat about 10-15.000 small animals per day. if they are in a forest now they make ecological massacre.
"Mink prey on fish and other aquatic life, small mammals (rabbits especially), and birds, particularly water fowl. Mink raised on farms primarily eat expired cheese, eggs, fish, meat and poultry slaughterhouse by-products, dog food, and turkey livers, as well as prepared, commercial foods.[8] A farm with 3000 mink may use as much as two tons of food per day."

i support ALF actions, but i hope that they didn't released them to the forest. if they did this, it will be a ecological debacle. because 50,000 minks are really huge population, they will destroy everyhing in this forest. and we know ALF is ELF's sister. so it's a perplexing action.

again, i hope they hadn't released all of them to same forest. before we do anything, we have to think about this action for many times. about their future, habitat and the nature which we released them. surely, if they know the animals and nature, they couldn't do this.

fuck you, all prisons needs to be destroyed, all living beings needs to be free. Take your fucking ecological order which doesn't feel any pain for the caged living beings.

I my friend dream of a society were there are no jails…and technology can be used for the good of mankind therefore making much better materials than animal skin for insulating ourselves from the cold, cause remember if you are living in a primitavist society you animals would be a rescource for survivl like ut has been for thousands of years.
i would also like every one to be vegan cause the animals in the concentrationn camps suffer horrifically, especially the ones used for milk, cheese and so on…..with this in prospective and the logic of putting people in jail most of the earths population would have to be in jail, anyways…just commenting

Anarchists solidarity protest outside Korydallos prison, the main prison in Athens, at the time of the change of the year. This protest happens every New Year's Eve for the past six years. This year more than 400 people took part in the protest that interacted with the prisoners inside through shouting mutual slogans and fireworks. The main slogan was "The passion for freedom is stronger that your prisons".

A society that punishes/the condition of incarceration/the prison of the mind/the prison as punishment/the rage of the damned will sound on the ruins of prisons/those denying obedience and misery of our era even within its hellholes/will dance together on the ruins of every last prison/with the flame of rebellion avenging whatever creates prisons.

To the prisoners struggle already counting one dead and thousands in hunger strike across greece, we stand in solidarity and anger until the destruction of every last prison.
